Mokatam Language School (MLS) was established in 1994 by Mr. Adly Al-Qazzaz as a licensed Egyptian private school under the supervision of the Egyptian Ministry of Education. MLS is the first private school in Mokatam. It offers pre-school to secondary school grade levels.
In 1996, MLS opened its IGCSE section under the supervision of the Cambridge Board of Education.
In 2005, the school opened its American Diploma division for the high school. Mokatam Language School is the first school in Mokatam to offer both British and American High-School certificates. Currently, the school has expanded and runs all grade levels from KG 1 to Grade 12.
Currently, approximately 1400 students of Diverse backgrounds, religions, and levels attend the school.
