We are a co-educational, independent private school serving Mississauga, Oakville, and surrounding communities since 1992.

We offer two exemplary elementary streams that strive to meet students' needs from preschool to Grade 8. Peel Montessori School offers a CCMA accredited Montessori program from preschool to Grade 6. Its division, Carrington College, offers a blended program for students entering the Elementary schooling years in Grades 1 to 8 without prior Montessori knowledge and instruction. Our blended program is based on student-centered, hands-on educational experiences, enabling competence and understanding of concepts, and supporting the Whole Child's development. Students excel at their level and pace, given their abilities/proficiencies/competencies. Understanding concepts, creativity, and the development of vital skills such as focus, time management, healthy work habits, and independent learning is the focus as the teachers guide each student to reach their potential. Peel Montessori observes and, in many instances, exceeds the requirements of the Ontario curriculum as a means of preparing students for academic, social, physical, and emotional success.
Although we are very dedicated to offering your child an exceptional academic and social foundation, we believe our unique programs guide your child to develop personal qualities and citizenship skills that inspire a well-rounded individual with respect, integrity, internal drive, concentration, organization, good study habits, within an exciting environment that enables your child to enjoy their schooling experience – laughter, friendships, and being cared for. Our vision began when our children were beginning school. We visited many schools, and one impressive element stood out when we visited a Montessori school in which we later enrolled our children. We observed that children in the Montessori environment had smiles on their faces, acquired superior skills, interacted in a social setting with enjoyment and self-discipline, and communicated with students and adults of various age ranges with confidence. Most importantly, the children were well-mannered, outspoken, independent and interested in taking on leadership roles by demonstrating their knowledge to others. We were convinced the Montessori pedagogy was by far a superior education system for children, as the child was at the center of the program. The respect for the child was unparalleled. After much effort, training, and time an opportunity presented itself, and Peel Montessori School opened its doors. Our goal was to bring the joy of learning, to inspire and guide a child's quest to learn, discover, and be creative. Moreover, we desired to help children maximize their potential with encouragement, dedication, and positive role modeling.
