Welcome to Wycliffe. It is with great pleasure that I invite you to share the lifelong Christian education journey with us at Wycliffe Christian School. As a learning community, we are very thankful for the privilege of providing educational opportunities for families in the Blue Mountains. We are committed to teaching our students to serve with humility and excellence in local, national, and international fields.
Our staff is passionate Christian educators who respond innovatively to the needs of our students and the community. We maintain small class sizes that cater to students and create tailored education journeys that work with the individual and their family's needs. We desire to work in partnership with families to invest in the future of their children. I hope that each student will leave Wycliffe with the character and skills they need to pursue fulfillment in all areas of their life.
Wycliffe enjoys a fine heritage in Christian education. Nestled amidst natural bushland in the Lower Blue Mountains, the school provides a beautiful Preschool setting for Year 12 education. Wycliffe is an independent, non-denominational, Christian school. The school recognizes parents' vital role in the educative process and prides itself on the strength of its partnership with home.
Quality and engaging education delivered through a distinctly Christian worldview provide a firm basis for students to navigate life. Teaching sparks intellectual curiosity, develops critical thinking skills, and promotes creativity through a collaborative and inspiring learning environment.
Learning occurs through a nurturing environment that provides support and encouragement to students from early childhood, through the turbulence of adolescence, into young adulthood. Students learn to assess their relationships, values, choices, and behavior against the Biblical worldview. Wycliffe encourages students to take the claims of Christ seriously, celebrating His lordship overall life. Further, the school desires to unleash the God-given potential in all students, equipping them as agents of change for the future.
We are a non-denominational Christian school. Staff at Wycliffe adhere to a statement of faith, participate in the Christian community, and teach with a Christian worldview.
