You will become part of the EY-Parthenon Performance, Turnaround & Restructuring (PTR) team. We help leadership teams navigate urgent and complex challenges, delivering rapid impact, sustainable results, and successful business transformation. Within performance improvement projects, you support clients in strengthening their financial and operational performance through targeted, high-impact initiatives. This includes improving the finance function by enhancing processes, controls, reporting and performance management to enable better and faster decision-making, cost optimisation programmes to structurally improve profitability, and drive working capital optimisation initiatives to unlock cash and improve liquidity. We support the full transformation journey, from strategy and design through implementation, connecting strategic priorities with finance operations. As such, the focus is on delivering practical, measurable improvements that create immediate impact while building a foundation for sustainable performance. Within turnaround and restructuring projects, you advise clients and stakeholders in complex and time-sensitive situations where financial stability is under pressure. You support liquidity management efforts, including cash flow forecasting and short-term stabilisation measures, and contribute to Independent Business Reviews to assess viability and identify required actions. Your work also includes involvement in situations related to distressed M&A, financial restructuring processes, and contingency planning, including insolvency scenarios where relevant. The emphasis is on stabilising the business, safeguarding value, and supporting stakeholders through critical phases of transformation and recovery. Understanding evolving legislation on aspects such as BEPS 2.0 on the digital economy and financial transaction will also be important. Developing a more detailed understanding of the basis of pricing inter-company transactions and pricing within different parts of the same enterprise under the authorised OECD approach. EY-Parthenon is seeking a high-performing Assistant Director to join its Analytics & AI practice, supporting organisations to unlock value from data through innovative, insight-led solutions. This role combines strategic thinking, client leadership, and delivery excellence. We are not looking for expertise in specific tools or technologies; instead, we are looking for individuals with the mindset and capability to understand business problems, identify the right approaches, and rapidly learn and apply tools that best suit client needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading engagements, shaping client solutions, and developing high-performing teams, while staying curious and open to experimentation in an evolving AI landscape. Your Key Responsibilities Client Delivery & Engagement Leadership Lead the design and delivery of analytics and AI-driven solutions to address complex business challenges Translate client problems into practical, data-informed approaches that create measurable value Oversee the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, ensuring outcomes are aligned to client objectives Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and communicate insights in a clear, compelling way Business Development & Growth Contribute to and lead proposals, client pitches, and solution development Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and deliver additional value Support the development of thought leadership and innovative offerings within Analytics & AI Stay attuned to market trends and bring fresh, forward-thinking perspectives to clients Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and inspire multi-disciplinary teams Create an environment that encourages learning, experimentation, and collaboration Support the growth and development of team members through mentoring and feedback Uphold EY-Parthenon values, quality standards, and commitment to excellence Skills and Attributes for success Extensive experience in analytics, data-driven transformation, or related fields Background in consulting or client-facing roles, with proven delivery experience Demonstrated ability to lead complex engagements and diverse teams We are deliberately not seeking expertise in specific tools.
