EduCativPosted October 17, 2020SharePosted October 17, 2020 Christian Heritage Academy, an independent, parent-governed school, offers an exemplary education based on biblical values to children of Christian families, equipping them to be lifetime followers of Jesus Christ. Established in 1984, Christian Heritage Academy (CHA) was founded on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ. Our Mission Statement commends us to provide not only an "exemplary education" but also to equip children "to be lifetime followers of Jesus Christ." This is the impetus for all we do at CHA. We begin with the Bible as the basis for learning. Our Statement of Faith, Philosophy of Education, and Core Values guide us as we teach from a comprehensive curriculum, using the best available textbooks and resources. Christian Heritage Academy seeks to come alongside Christian parents and the church to build into the next generation of believers' lives. By providing an educational experience consistent with the biblical values taught in both the home and church, a three-way partnership among home, church, and school is created. A CHA education includes an innovative and comprehensive curriculum, "Living Curriculum Teachers," and excellent resources to create an academically excellent, spiritually formative program. Students of all grade levels enjoy the freedom to explore and learn in a nurturing Christ-centered environment. At every level, we challenge our students to consider the question, 'what does God's Word mean in my life?' Articulate, mature Christian teachers seek to teach our students to think critically and biblically. We desire to ignite a passion for His Word and to equip students to impact their school, communities, and the world for the glory of God. Join us in this high calling! Excellence is the standard that guides all that we do because God does what He does with excellence. We will undertake no program, project, or initiative unless it can be accomplished excellently with excellent results. However, excellence does not mean bigger, better, or more. It means the most appropriate use of God-given resources to accomplish His purposes with CHA best as outlined in the Scriptures, the school Mission Statement, and godly leaders' analysis. We are here to accomplish God's excellent plan under his mighty control. As a community, we must encourage dependence upon God in every area of our lives to give us His perspective and His definition of balance. God has created us to worship Him in every area of life through praise, prayer, service, work, study, play, rest, and through our families and relationships. There is a proper time for each of these pursuits, and CHA must encourage a godly balance and perspective in the lives of its students, families, and staff. It is the purpose of CHA to "offer an exemplary education based on biblical values to the children of Christian families, equipping them to be lifetime followers of Jesus Christ." Our purpose then is clear: it is to help develop the next generation of spiritual leadership and equip them to understand how to integrate their faith and knowledge with their daily lives. Moreover, God has created each of us with a specific purpose. He has given each one of us a unique set of abilities, talents, and passions. We seek to help identify and maximize each child's and each employee's unique, God‐given potential and encourage parents to share their abilities and talents with the school. For over 30 years, Christian Heritage Academy has been synonymous with excellence in education. Besides, CHA's distinctive Christ-centered program sets it apart. Using the best available curriculum and resources, all subject areas are taught with a biblical worldview. We invite you to discover how the integration of Christian faith and learning can impact a child's heart in this life and for eternity.View full schoolQuoteLink to commentShare on other sitesMore sharing options...
