At the Plettenberg Bay Christian School, we encourage character and individualized learning as a Divine Mandate. Diagnostic testing assures that every student finds that place that maximizes learning. Our vision is to become a College of Christian Education from pre-school to post-school developing Godly character in tomorrow’s leaders.
Developing responsible life-long learners of Character to positively impact their communities with a Biblical World-View. We believe now more than ever that the individualized learning methodology of ACE (which has stood the test of time) is indeed an effective tool in equipping students to fulfill their calling. Our students have once again received great reports from both University and the professional domain and we are delighted at their success.
True Christian education is not a negative thing it is not a matter of isolating the student from the full scope of knowledge. Isolating the student from large sections of human knowledge is not the basis of Christian education.
Rather it is giving him or her the framework for total truth, rooted in the Creator’s existence and the Bible’s teaching so that in each step of the formal learning process the student will understand what is true and what is false and why it is true or false.
It is not isolating students from human knowledge. It is giving the tools in the opening the doors to all human knowledge, in the Christian framework so they will know what is truth and what is untruth, so they can keep learning as long as they live, and they can enjoy, they can enjoy, the whole wrestling through the field after field of knowledge.
At A.C.E., our purpose in providing educational materials goes beyond simply helping students learn the academics required to enter college or get a good job. We desire to build in students a lifelong burning passion to learn and grow spiritually. It is one thing to want children to be successful and quite another to provide the academic and character training to ensure this accomplishment.
Godly character training is part of the A.C.E. learning experience, and it prepares students to welcome and accept challenges and future opportunities. Sixty character traits, such as kindness, loyalty, and honesty, are taught within the curriculum. Students can observe character development in the true-to-life character strips and then apply the Godly character lessons to their own lives.
Challenging and highly effective, the A.C.E. program is an extraordinary educational approach, Biblical in its core, that prepares students for tomorrow’s world while giving them traditional moral values that will last a lifetime.
The curriculum conveys Biblical values and concepts considered foundational to meaningful interpersonal relationships and productive learning in such a way as to become life-shaping influences.
