National private school was established in 1982. It is recognized as one of the first private schools in Oman. It began only with kindergarten and grades one and two. Year after year, it became greater in the size, quantity, and scope of education. In 1997/1998 the first batch of General Secondary Certificate of general education graduated. The school adopts the three systems of education that include general education, bilingual, and IGCSE courses.

Our school seeks to mingle the Omani Arab culture with the most up-to-date method of education and technology. It always places a great emphasis on students’ personalities so that they can play vital roles in building their country. In addition an excellent group of experienced teachers from different countries who spare no effort to provide students with all opportunities of learning new skills which help them in increasing their academic level, therefore they can join local and International Universities.

There is no limit to our ambition. We feel that we need to continue working much harder to accomplish some of our ambitions. Our school adopts continuous development strategies including ongoing programs of employees’ professional development, constant analysis, and assessment of school performance and best methods of monitoring students.

Believing in teamwork that makes the process of learning more interesting and enjoyable, the school administration always encourages the students and their parents to participate in formulating these strategies and achieving the aims and vision of the Omani government. We employ well-qualified and experienced teachers from different countries so that our students can benefit from their cultures and experiences. On top of that, the best Omani teachers who are highly efficient in teaching and administration are also employed.

After long years of great effort and hard work of the National private school employees, it has become fully fledged. We hope the parents always tie our school to qualities of honesty and trustworthiness because we spare no effort to achieve these ambitions including implanting values and principles in our students ‘minds and learning new experiences and skills which help them serve their country.

Our mission is to make the students eligible to be aware of holding responsibilities for meeting their society’s requirements and maintaining the Omani identity when they learn new skills and knowledge. We adopt plans and methods of creativity and development and keep in touch with society these plans are implements by professional administrative and teaching staff. Our goals:

• To adopt more foreign languages and courses in terms of the educations laws of Oman.
• To constraint students' self-confidence to be good citizen students or their country.

• To find out and develop the student's creative skills and abilities through different activities.
• To highlight the role of Arabic language courses of all core subjects.
• To enhance the position relation between the teachers and the environment where they work.
• To relate the academic level to moral behaviors through fostering the close relationship between the concepts of education and teaching.
• To encourage students to be more cooperative and responsible.
• To achieve all objects mentions above through the education plans specified by the Ministry of Education.
• To improve students, abilities, and skills through various activities.
