ASIA Metropolitan International School, in line with our philosophy of ‘Educating Forward,’ will provide a holistic learning environment, with a great emphasis on mastering the English Language and one other foreign language. We believe this gives our students the advantage of confidently coping with information, communication, and digital technology preparing them to succeed in a global setting.
In ‘Educating Forward’, we are the only school in this state to incorporate technology into its daily teaching and learning, which also goes hand in hand with the state–of–the–art facilities that are housed within the campus grounds.
AMETIS will deliver a quality international education based on the Cambridge International programs of study and the National Curriculum for England. Our learners will sit relevant assessments by the Cambridge International Examinations board.
The teaching force at AMETIS made up of expatriates and Malaysian teachers is a team of highly motivated individuals, who have vast experience in international schools. Being familiar with the international school scene, they will be the driving force in delivering the quality international education that AMETIS guarantees.
At AMETIS, we offer the Cambridge International Programmes of Study because we believe in providing the best education possible to develop successful learners. We aim to develop learners who are confident, responsible, reflective, innovative, and engaged. All our programs and qualifications follow a learner-centered approach. We are a registered Cambridge International Examinations center and offer a range of internationally recognized assessments and qualifications such as the Primary Checkpoint, Secondary Checkpoint, IGCSE, and A-levels. In addition to English, all learners at AMETIS, Ipoh from Years 1 to 11 will study Malay and Mandarin as foreign languages during school hours.
The ASIA Metropolitan International School is housed in beautifully renovated premises along Jalan Raja DiHilir. All areas of the school are equipped with internet access, dedicated computer labs, an art room, music room, library facilities, and individual computers in classrooms. The library is well-stocked with books reflecting the international nature of the school.
