Al-Noor Bilingual School, where we are committed to providing the best holistic, bilingual education delivering modern teaching and learning practices, within a caring and safe Islamic environment. We are now opening for classes from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 7 in September 2017 insha’Allah, in a wonderful purpose-built building with fantastic facilities.
Al-Noor Bilingual School aspires to be the leading bilingual school in Kuwait offering a quality educational foundation as preparation for lifelong learning and Higher Education. Our aim is for our students to graduate as Muslim professionals and committed citizens who are creative, confident, ethical, and responsible ambassadors of their cultural and Islamic heritage, within local and international communities. These aims are simply described in our motto:
“Believe, Engage and Achieve”
We are unique in developing a rich, customized, school program of learning, delivered by our international Muslim faculty, who use the latest technology and Islamically and culturally appropriate resources for our Muslim students living in Kuwait. We have an integrated subject approach, with meaningful themes that students can relate to, actively explore in-depth and make connections between subjects that capture their interest - resulting in a greater understanding of content and acquisition of skills. Our after-school program, which is also open to the community, offers the opportunity for children to enjoy recreational activities, participate in community activities and develop talents.
Our integrated curriculum is based on the US Common Core Standards for English, Maths, Science and Social Studies, alongside the Kuwait Ministry of Education’s program for Qur'an, Islamic, Arabic, and Arabic Social Studies, a school-developed ‘Al-Noor Character Education’ program and skills and talents related to our Islamic heritage. We believe that for children to be good Muslims they have to grow up in an environment that models the ‘Sunnah’ in Islamic values and practices and our faculty strive to uphold and model this. We are also welcoming parents to a monthly Halaqa, related to the current Islamic value being studied by students.
This quality educational foundation is preparation for lifelong learning and Higher Education. Our aim is for our students to graduate as Muslim professionals and committed citizens who are creative, confident, ethical, and responsible ambassadors of their cultural and Islamic heritage, within local and international communities.
