EduCativPosted July 31, 2021SharePosted July 31, 2021 At Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, we believe that God created every student to be one of a kind. Throughout their years with us, we challenge and inspire students to explore, develop, and make full use of their gifts so that they can lead lives of significant impact and influence. The teachers and staff are incredible. The love, support, and encouragement my children received through the years have aided in the character and spirit they encompass. The education and guidance have encouraged my Haley to step out and learn so many new things. The opportunities she has for the next season of her life are incredible. God has allowed us to be a part of a pretty inspiring community, and we are excited for the future of all the CHCA kids, young adults, and those to come." Guided by caring Christian teachers, your Lower Elementary student will build foundational skills in literacy, problem-solving, creative expression, scientific exploration, and more - while discovering his or her God-given gifts. An experiential learning approach celebrates and encourages questions as students construct knowledge through research, collaboration, and hands-on application. As your student moves on to grades 4-6, our Upper Elementary is designed to intentionally bridge critical transitional years by creating an encouraging environment where students flourish. Here, they discover their strengths and build confidence and resilience. Your student will be fully prepared intellectually, socially, and spiritually to succeed at the next level. As Cincinnati's only six-year Christ-centered college prep high school experience, the Upper School grants students six years instead of four to flourish in their gifts, pursue their interests, and enter college fully prepared. Students are exposed to a unique and challenging curriculum housed within distinct centers of engagement and innovative, one-of-a-kind, hands-on curricular and extracurricular experiences. Grades 7 and 8 jumps start the Upper School experience. A student-centered culture fosters independence and confidence to help students find their footing, emerge from the crowd, and fully engage in their education. Grades 9-12 focus on significantly extending social, relational, spiritual, and intellectual engagement in a highly enriched environment. Students will launch into college with extraordinary experiences, intellectual acumen, and confidence, setting them on a unique path to success. Our dedicated Christian faculty members - all top professionals in their fields - guide students to step outside of what comes naturally and comfortably because only by stretching do we truly grow. Together, we explore life's most difficult questions, helping students build resilience as they come to own their learning and their faith. We endeavor to walk in others' shoes and push the limits of our understanding. And we become transformed in the process. Our outstanding academic curriculum, including our innovative Christian Studies program, celebrated fine arts program, inspiring service opportunities, "win twice" philosophy on the athletic field. Within all of our CHCA Distinctives, our students are given countless opportunities to develop confidence, curiosity, and resilience. Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy is a Christ-centered, multi-denominational, college preparatory academy that exists to prepare students intellectually and spiritually for success in higher education and beyond and impact and influence the world according to their unique gifts and talents. This will be accomplished by: Creating an environment that encourages students, faculty, staff, and families to develop and live out their relationship with Jesus Christ. Developing a passion for lifelong learning leads to thoughtful, effective service through the excellent, intentional curriculum and extracurricular offerings. Empowering outstanding Christian faculty and staff to fully use their passions and expertise to create engaged critical thinkers. Fostering an exceptional environment that develops students' gifts and talents in the arts, athletics, leadership, and additional extracurricular opportunities for God's purposes. Building an engaged school community encompasses faculty, staff, students, families, alumni, and donors, which reinforces the school's vision, mission, and core values. CHCA offers an outstanding education, unlike any within the city. Beginning at age two and continuing through graduation, your student will question, consider, discover, test, fail, and thrive, all while under the counsel of exceptional Christian teachers and countless hands-on opportunities. And as students engage and grow cognitively, spiritually, and socially, they are ultimately prepared to flourish both inside and outside the classroom walls. But don't just take our word for it; see what our students, alum, parents, and teachers have to say about their CHCA experience.View full schoolQuoteLink to commentShare on other sitesMore sharing options...
