St Swithun Wells Catholic Primary School is a popular and oversubscribed one-form entry Outstanding Primary school in South Ruislip with a 20 place Nursery (mornings only). In 2014, St Swithun Wells became a designated NCTL Teaching School.

Our school is committed to achieving excellence with a learning environment built upon the foundations of the gospel values. The excellent relationship we have with our parish, St Gregory's, and our strong Catholic ethos are reflected in our school mission statement. We are proud of the caring, supportive, and committed school community of staff, children, parents, and governors of St Swithun Wells and we work in partnership to ensure that our children leave our school as well-rounded, determined, skilled, and confident individuals.

We are a Catholic School that seeks to live out the values of Jesus Christ. Each half term the school community will focus on a value that links to our mission statement and the teachings of Jesus. We recognize how important it is to help our pupils develop academically but also spiritually, morally, socially, and culturally. Our aim is that they are also fully prepared and take on the role of good citizens, able to make the best possible contribution to the Common Good. Within a framework of Catholic Christian Values, we teach the importance of British Values which also link to our school values.

St Swithun Wells is a joint Teaching School with St Mary's Primary Catholic School, Uxbridge. We are the Primary Teaching School Alliance. As a Teaching School, we provide professional development courses which are held at St Mary's Catholic School. We also run a School Direct Programme for 'Graduate Students' choosing the teaching profession. We work in partnership with St Mary's University and Brunel University and the schools in our alliance. Students will carry out their training at one of the alliance schools with the aim of a successful appointment to a vacant position at these schools.

St Swithun Wells Catholic Primary School is committed to serving its local national and international community. It recognizes the multi-cultural, multi-faith, and ever-changing landscape of the United Kingdom. It also understands the vital role it has in ensuring that groups or individuals within any environment are not subjected to intimidation or radicalization by those wishing to unduly, or illegally, influence them. Our school fosters a strong sense of belonging both to the school community and as a citizen of Britain with the responsibilities that citizenship brings. The school has policies in place regarding Equality, to ensure that there will be no discrimination against any individual or group, regardless of faith, ethnicity, gender, status, or similar. It seeks to serve all so that everyone feels a sense of belonging. The Government emphasizes that schools are required to ensure that key ‘British Values’ are taught in all UK schools.
