EIT Digital invests in strategic areas to accelerate the market uptake of research-based digital technologies focusing on Europe's strategic, societal challenges: Digital Industry, Digital Cities, Digital Wellbeing, Digital Infrastructure, and Digital Finance.

EIT Digital breeds T-shaped entrepreneurial digital talent focused on innovation through a blended Education Strategy that includes a Master's School, Doctoral School, and Professional School.

The EIT Digital Academy is the European education leader in providing online "blended" Innovation and Entrepreneurship education to raise quality, increase diversity, and availability of the top-level content provided by our partner universities, institutes, and companies.

The EIT Digital Academy delivers our unique blend of technical excellence and entrepreneurial skills and mindset to digital engineers and entrepreneurs at all stages of their careers. We train graduates pursuing digital entrepreneurial education via the EIT Digital Master School, provide the opportunity for industry embedded, market-focused doctorates via the EIT Digital Doctoral School, and ensure those already working within the industry can keep abreast of current developments and use them to help their organization innovate and succeed via the EIT Digital Professional School.

The EIT Digital Academy continues to build the EIT education brand to establish it as a recognized innovative part of the European higher education landscape.

EIT Digital invests human and financial resources in critical high-potential activities to develop ICT business and talent in Europe. The investments are clustered in 8 pan-European Innovation and Education Action Lines - portfolios of thematic activities targeting impactful outcomes. Action Lines are executed within our European ecosystem of top Corporations, SMEs, universities, research institutes and startups, and our Co-Location Centers.

Our 5 Innovation Action Lines have been strategically chosen: Digital Industry, Digital Cities, Digital Wellbeing, Digital Infrastructure, and Digital Finance. We select the most promising research results in each Action Line, disruptive technologies, and business strategies from our ecosystem and beyond. We package them in Innovation Activities and startups. Our ambition is to drive these innovations to succeed in world markets and become European success stories.

EIT Digital adopts a blended Education approach where students develop cutting-edge ICT knowledge merged with innovation and entrepreneurship skills in a combined set of physical and virtual classrooms. It consists of 3 Education Action Lines:

The Alumni Foundation creates a vibrant, active, and successful EIT Digital alumni network. The foundation organizes meet-ups, maintains an active community and discussion forum, keeps track of alumni careers, and supports students and alumni to contact companies, public institutions, and academia. The Alumni Foundation also aims at providing guidance and mentoring for students and alumni.
