Children are smiling, playground laughter, children, working together, asking questions, exploring, problem-solving – as an educator, these are a few of my favorite things. When I walk around Golden Grove Lutheran Primary School (GPS), I observe positive and powerful interactions. I see the rich and deep learning occurring; I witness the care and concern between all community members, children, and adults alike.

During the last thirty years for which I have been a principal, I have been honored to be a part of many children's learning journeys. In partnership with parents, it is a privilege and exciting to watch children grow and develop as they respond to an engaging and stimulating learning program. As a school, we must believe in the capacity of every child who walks through our doors. We offer a comprehensive and contemporary program within a safe environment that will support them in their learning and growth to become citizens who are equipped to make a difference in the world.

Who we are and what we aim to achieve is driven by our school values of 'Belief, Collaborate, Achieve.' Through this website, I trust that you will gain a sense of our school community and the GPS difference.

Deciding the right school for your child /ren and family is a complex decision that needs much thought and exploration. To provide a comprehensive and contemporary education program embeds lifelong values, and encourages global citizenship within an inclusive Christ-centered community. The class carer's mission statement shows Jesus, love, care, and fellowship within the school community. The aims of GGLPS class carers

• To uphold and promote the ethos of GPS
• To better care for the students and families of our school
• To assist teachers in the care and support of the students and families of their class
• To increase and act upon our sense of community
• To provide more efficient channels of communication between families and between families and the school

Class Carers is a network designed to support families and teachers within our school community in crisis and need, such as sickness, hospitalization, and birth.

Christian Studies aims to allow students to explore and reflect on critical faith statements to develop their understanding of life and the world in which they live. Learning content includes Christian beliefs, Christian Church, Christian Living, and Christianity in the World.
