Penn State Harrisburg offers more than 65 undergraduate and graduate programs and many opportunities to expand learning beyond the classroom, including conducting research, joining honors programs, completing internships, and more.

    A comprehensive college, Penn State Harrisburg, enrolls more than 5,000 students and offers more than 65 associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree programs and the first two years of study, leading to more than 160 majors offered throughout Penn State. The college serves students from all Penn State campuses and those from community colleges and other accredited institutions at the transfer level.

    Penn State's tuition and fees vary by campus, credit hours completed, program and residency – the student tuition calculators, provide specific tuition rates for individual students.

    Conducting research can provide students with a better understanding of their field and hands-on experience with real-world applications. Penn State Harrisburg offers undergraduate and graduate students with numerous research opportunities.

    From NCAA Division III athletics to student government to Penn State's renowned THON, Penn State Harrisburg offers students many opportunities to grow outside of the classroom, including nearly 90 clubs and organizations, intramural sports, and community service activities.     The Career Services Office provides resources for students, alumni, and employers. Students will find numerous career-related, web-based tools that provide access to full and part-time employment opportunities, co-ops, and internships. The office also assists Penn State Harrisburg alumni with career planning, and job hunting and aids employers recruit new employees.

    Each year, Penn State Harrisburg becomes the home of hundreds of international students from several dozen different countries. The Office of International Student Support Services (ISSS) houses the International Student Advisers. It provides support services for international students in matters relating to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) paperwork, social, and cultural issues.

    Continuing Education offers programs in various deliverables for topics relevant to business, engineering, Education, environmental, healthcare, and more. We offer programs in various in half and full-day sessions, including workshops, seminars, webinars, and hybrid learning options. Penn State Harrisburg Continuing Education is your local resource to the expansive knowledge available through Penn State. Our faculty are world-renown, working with your organization to identify performance gaps that can be addressed through Education and training.

    Continuing Education provides a wide variety of opportunities to earn credits towards your goal of earning a degree. We cater to working adults challenged by juggling work, family, and pursuing their Education. At Penn State Harrisburg Continuing Education, we pride ourselves on making available the resources proven to help adult learners successfully meet their educational goals.

    Penn State Harrisburg offers two honors programs for highly motivated students to achieve academic excellence and wants more out of their college education. The two programs are the Capital College Honors Program and the University's Schreyer Honors College. Both programs provide students with special honors courses in various disciplines, supervised research opportunities, and support for international travel and study abroad. The Honors Programs aim to build a learning community that provides a unique learning experience for motivated students. The Honors Programs at Penn State Harrisburg are a learning community of students who have demonstrated a commitment to learning and distinguished themselves through high academic achievement in various academic programs.
