Through the leadership of a 13-member Strategic Visioning Advisory Committee, the Strategic Roadmap comprises five priorities and 16 University-Level Initiatives (Ulis), all that map to the university's compelling mission, vision, and values. It also includes performance metrics to measure progress and a University Dashboard complete with six-year goals and peer and aspirational institution comparative data. With our Strategic Roadmap in hand and a dashboard as our compass to keep us pointed in our chosen direction, it is assured that we will reach our destination.

Beginning with the fall 2018 academic year, Kent State will offer all eligible new first-year undergraduate and transfer students the certainty that the Ohio resident tuition rate (i.e., instructional and general fee) career services fee, as well as room and board plan charges, will not increase for their applicable cohort rate. Participation in the program is required for all new first-year degree-seeking undergraduate and eligible transfer students enrolling at Kent State for the first time in the fall semester of 2018 or later.
