The College has six core values which underpin everything we do. Respect is one of our fundamental values but is also embedded within all the other five values. The College aims to provide an inclusive environment where students and staff are highly valued. Relationships are based on mutual respect to provide a positive experience for all members of its community. The College has a reputation for working to remove barriers to achievement. This ethos enables us to recruit from a diverse range of staff and students and ensure they progress and succeed.

We aim to be an outstanding provider of education and training for all the communities we serve. To do this, we will provide high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment for all, which will recognize and reflect the diversity, provide appropriate support for those who require it, and will be accessible for all. If you need any help or support, our student services team will always offer guidance and practical help with any issues that may arise, and our learning services team can help you with your studies.

We make sure that everything we do helps:

    • Empower all students and staff to utilize the full range of resources and opportunities available to them
    • Mlearning more inclusive, and to ensure that learners of all ages and backgrounds can realize their potential.
    • Raise awareness of what different communities bring to the College
    • Provide an environment that is conducive to the personal and professional development of each individual
    • Remove the barriers that can prevent members of particular groups from achieving their full potential, be it as a learner or a member of staff at the College
    • Ensure a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination of any kind

You can find out more about our commitment to equality and diversity in our Equality and Diversity Policy and our Equality and Diversity Report.
