MSU was established in 1855 and the model for 69 land-grant foundations set up under the Morrill Act of 1862. It was the main establishment of higher learning in the United States to instruct logical agribusiness.

MSU Dubai started offering two new Master's programs in fall 2012: a Master of US Law and a Master of Jurisprudence. MSU offers Study Abroad opportunities in Dubai to US-based students. We were pleased to welcome our second Freshman Seminar Abroad batch from the main campus in East Lansing in the winter of 2011-12 and expect numerous more will visit this exciting and imperative district as a component of their worldwide experiences. We also expect that MSU in East Lansing will benefit from facilitating a continually expanding number of student visitors from the Greater Middle East in the years to come.
