Taipei Tech, being one of the oldest technological universities in Taiwan, is devoting its strengths to becoming an internationally renowned university. Taipei Tech wishes that shortly it will be a globally visible technological university to Georgia Institute of Technology in the USA and the Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan.

With the set vision to become a world-renowned leader in education, Taipei Tech is maintaining a steady flow of global interaction amongst other global educational institutes and always adapting to the needs of current educational responses, allowing for a more diverse influx of international students to become a part of the Taipei Tech family.

With the ongoing reputation of Taipei Tech as a top educational leader in Taiwan, the forming of symbiotic relationships between local industries, academics, and research, Taipei Tech is firmly linking itself to Taiwan's industries and forming a reputation of an "excellent R&D partner of SMEs." In exchange for such a reputation, Taipei Tech is also improving and strengthening cultural activities, making neighboring residents proud of Taipei Tech. The three core missions of a university are education, research, and social contribution. To implement Taipei Tech to become a leading international university of technology, I will direct all efforts on the following six dimensions:

    • Smart green campus
    • The diverse and creative learning environment
    • Holistic education
    • Practice-oriented industry-academia research
    • Education and research-oriented international communication
    • United and friendly administration teams

Taipei Tech campus is located at the apex of the Taipei Metro system. Not only can students enjoy a world-class education at Taipei Tech, but they also gain the opportunity to enjoy the rich traditional culture that Taipei offers. Attractions such as Taipei 101, the Palace Museum, and the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall are near Taipei Tech.

The integral part of our university is our students. We will integrate the forces of administration, teaching, and research to prepare our students to develop implementation and communication. We are also committed to getting our students equipped with professional knowledge, language, and problem-solving ability and cultivate them with the desired attributes necessary for competitiveness to uphold their leading position in today's globalized world. Founded in 1912, Taipei Tech's long-standing history already exceeds one hundred years. In the past century, our alumni have made outstanding contributions to each stage of Taiwan's economic development. In response to international talent needs, Taipei Tech will continue advancing vocational education and boosting cooperation among academia, industry, and government. We also find the balance between humanitarian and technological innovation and theory and practice in our learning environment to reinforce Taipei Tech as a "practical research university.

With a long-standing history and experience in education, Taipei Tech devotes to cultivating top technical professionals. Taipei Tech specializes in three fields: technology, design, and management. In a recent teaching excellence evaluation by Taiwan's Ministry of Education, Taipei Tech was ranked first among all the other technological universities. It is also Number One Paradigm Technological University for its research and academic excellence. Taipei Tech alumni have contributed considerably to Taiwan's economic development and have won wide praise from businesses of all industries. Taipei Tech graduates are the top favorite employees among Taiwan's top 1000 enterprises, as Cheers magazine declared. Taipei Tech is also renowned as the top World Green University. In UI Green Metrics University Rankings, Taipei Tech is ranked as the 1st Green University in Taiwan and the 6th in the world in the city center category.
