    National University of Science and Technology (NU) is a unique multi-campus and multidisciplinary University in Oman, established by the merger of three existing major higher education institutions in Oman namely Caledonian College of Engineering, Oman Medical College, and College of Pharmacy. NU is unique in its form and content with a vision is to become a renowned institute for excellence in education & research driven by social values.



    As a NU student, you can choose from 17 programs housed in 4 colleges and benefit from a core curriculum designed to forge new and meaningful connections across the health sciences, engineering, and technology supported by an exclusive foundation study,. Our students are tackling significant issues and benefiting from a wide variety of support resources.

    NU offers innovative programs, emphasizing creative applications of knowledge in tune with the global requirements in Science and Technology.

    • College of Medicine and Health Sciences (COMHS), located in Sohar, offers a six-year Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program in academic partnership with West Virginia University (USA).
    • College of Engineering (COE), located in Al-Hail, offers an attractive portfolio of Undergraduate and Masters Programs in Engineering and related disciplines.
    • College of Pharmacy (COP), located in Bousher, offers a 4-year program leading to Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
    • International College of Maritime (IMCO), offering Diploma and Degree programs in Marine and allied disciplines 
    • College of Advanced Technology (CAT) offering degree programs in Cyber Security, AI, Data Science, IOT and Machine Learning
    • School of Foundation Studies (SOFS), a dedicated and purpose-built campus located at Airport Heights, offers a 3-semester General Foundation Program.
