Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNIRAZAK) was established on 18 December 1997 as one of Malaysia's first private universities.
Since its inception, UNIRAZAK was among the first few private learning institutions in Malaysia to receive the SIRIM certification of ISO 9001:2000. Additionally, the University has been awarded the prestigious Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) status, a testament to the University's commitment to integrating technology and innovation in its teaching and learning techniques. UNIRAZAK has rapidly established itself as a premier center for education in its efforts to produce competitive and capable graduates.
UNIRAZAK has produced more than 20,000 alumni studying at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. All our academic programs, which were developed through close consultation with the industry partners, public and private sector professionals, have been approved by the Malaysian Higher Education Ministry (MOHE) besides meeting the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA).
UNIRAZAK has been acclaimed with numerous top awards from several of Malaysia's leading award-based organizations. Within the first quarter of 2016, UNIRAZAK has already claimed the Export Outstanding Achievement Award to contribute to Islamic banking and financial services for the year 2015. UNIRAZAK secured a four-star rating from the Malaysia Research Assessment (MyRA) for 2014 - 2015.
UNIRAZAK is also the grand winner of Entrepreneurial Private University. These plaudits Brand Laureate Awards: Best Brands in Education - Tertiary and Best Brands in Brand Management, and winner of the 'Quality College and University' from the 2nd International Standard Quality Award. UNIRAZAK has also received the bronze award in the Putra Brand Awards (Education and Learning) category, Asia's Best B-School Award (from CMO Asia), and Sahabat Negara SME Award (from SME Recognition Awards ).
