For the past 30 years, Grenoble Ecole de Management has developed its role in France and abroad as a French business school leader. We have helped shape the future of business worldwide through our expertise in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Through our capacity to innovate and the continuous improvement of our intellectual contributions, GEM seeks to promote expertise in the management of technology and innovation, entrepreneurship, and responsible business practices.
For more than 20 years, Grenoble Ecole de Management has offered educational programs for international markets. This offer includes 15 high level and international programs (MBA, MIB, MSc, etc.) in Grenoble, Paris, and worldwide. Recognized by international rankings, these programs enroll 3,000 students from 134 countries.
Since its creation in 1984, Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) has focused on Technology and Innovation Management to become a world leader in these fields.
The know-how we have developed thanks to the innovative spirit of Grenoble. This cosmopolitan city of science and technology is the world's fifth-most inventive city (Forbes magazine) and has fostered our institution's success.
Encouraging an innovative spirit is a fundamental pillar of GEM. Technology and Innovation Management are integral parts of all our programs. From undergraduate studies to continuing education and research programs, GEM trains future managers to overcome tomorrow's challenges.
Grenoble Ecole de Management is the first French business school to include geopolitics and a general understanding of today's world training programs. Geopolitics has been a part of our programs for approximately ten years. Thanks to active research in this field, the School is a regular participant in current scientific and societal debates on geopolitical issues.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is more than a field of study. It is a transversal skill that impacts all activities and managerial functions. As a result, all of our degree programs include training on ethics, responsible management, and sustainable development.
This can be illustrated by courses that specifically target these topics (e.g., Economic Peace, Social and Solidarity Economy, or Working on Sustainable Development) as well as the overall Assurance of Learning process, which was implemented in 2012 to help our degree programs integrate CSR goals.
We also participate in the Sustainability Literacy Test to encourage student self-evaluation. This study is administered to higher education students worldwide to evaluate their basic knowledge of sustainable development issues and their responsibilities as individuals and members of an organization.
Solidarity and engagement are essential principles that guide many of the actions carried out by our student associations.
Since 2007, Grenoble Ecole de Management has been a signatory of the UN Global Compact. This agreement underlines our institution's work to promote UN Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). The School also participates in the national work group on "Skills for Sustainable Development" led by the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles and the Conférence des Présidents d’Universités.
Our institution has always emphasized the diversity of our students and professors as this international melting pot brings us new talents worldwide.
Since 2005, Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) has been developing specific projects to encourage diversity.
Students with disabilities can benefit from personalized counseling and the possibility to adapt their schedules and teaching methods to meet their needs. GEM also offers continuing education opportunities for employed individuals who must change career paths due to a disability. All of GEM's training is accessible to students with disabilities.
