TasTAFE is the largest vocational education and training provider in Tasmania. With 12 campuses, we operate effectively throughout the State and offer more than 370 courses and qualifications. Being Government-owned brings many benefits to our students, such as a modern campus network, fully registered teachers, and contemporary training facilities. To be registered by the Tasmanian Teachers Registration Board, our TAFE teachers have to meet higher standards than trainers in other organizations. Our managers and support staff also have the highest expectations placed upon their work.

TasTAFE is proud to deliver more than 370 nationally accredited and industry-endorsed qualifications from Certificate I to Advanced Diploma level to short courses and pre-vocational/pre-employment foundation programs. Owned by the Tasmanian Government, it is a stable, state-owned asset. TasTAFE operates under the auspices of its legislative functions and powers and is governed by an independent Statutory Board who reports to the Minister.
