We value the impact of the performing and visual arts and sport on children’s experience and success we aim to complement academic study with regular opportunities for students in all three of these areas. We believe that our school is a learning community for everyone – pupils, teachers, parents, carers, volunteers, visitors, and governors. To that end, we promote collaboration and open communication between home, school, and the wider community for the good of all children. We also aim to provide each member of staff with continuous professional development opportunities that will enable them to do their best for our pupils. - Tyndale Park Christian School is an Independent school, located in Flat Bush, near Manukau City Central, and comprises over two hectares of land, with pockets of native bush, which have been developed to include modern classrooms, sealed courts, a sports field, and an adventure playground. At the moment, the school is undergoing development of its land which will provide a significant increase in playing fields. However, for the remainder of this year, we will likely face some restrictions in our playing areas, while this work is being completed. Our school has no zoning restrictions*, and children attend from a wide area of southeast Auckland. Children can enjoy some of the native bush areas and the abundant birdlife which includes tuis, wood-pigeons, and rosellas. Facilities provided include Home Economics & Technicraft Rooms, Art Room, IT Room, Library and a multi-purpose Hall. The Primary School years are a time of excitement, growth, and learning! The horizons of each child's world expand day by day. At school, there should be a combination of joy and challenge in learning, so that each child grows to maturity in knowledge and skill. The Primary courses lay stress on soundly teaching basic skills and knowledge. Children are schooled in good work habits and the value of meeting standards of excellence. At the same time as we lay a foundation in the basics we extend children's studies across the breadth of God's world in which they live. "The Earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof the world, and all that dwell therein." (Psalm 24:1) Children need to be brought to know and to wonder about an ever-increasing expanse of what God has entrusted to us. Bible, English, Mathematics, Science, and Culture form the core of the curriculum with Art, Music, and Physical Care for all students. In Science, children study God's creation and how Man is to fulfill the creation mandate to exercise dominion over creation as God's stewards. It includes training in the basic practical skills used in research. Science Projects form part of the course work for Year 7 & 8 students each year. They participate in our Annual School Science Fair and winners have the chance to enter the regional Manukau Science Fair also. Pupils are introduced to a Foreign language, either French, Portuguese or German. The aim is to develop an appreciation and a basic understanding of the language. In Technology, pupils are instructed in subjects such as cooking, technocrats/tech drawing, and sewing. The secondary school curriculum is divided into two phases: Year 9 & 10 pupils continue the same basic course as in our primary and intermediate classes, with the addition of a one-hour, daily session utilizing the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) material. We aim to lay a solid foundation of knowledge and skill to equip pupils with sound work skills and habits that are essential for senior students and those beginning work. Students also complete the 'International Computer Driver's Licence' course this is a 6-module, online, a foundational course covering all aspects of computers including software and hardware. Year 11 to 13 students work predominantly with the A.C.E. materials which are recognized by all NZ Universities and other tertiary education providers throughout the world. In addition, students participate in supplementary courses in subjects such as art, craft, and design. Since 1981, Tyndale Park Christian School has been providing ... Independent, Christ-centered education for students from New Entrant to Year 13 A commitment to teaching the truth and virtues communicated to us by God's Word support for the faith and practice of the Christian home and church Teachers committed to Christian Education A proven new entrant program based on phonics, that enables students, appropriate to their age and developmental level, to decode text independently and fluently, write sentences, and do basic addition and subtraction A personalized, mastery-based high school program A Level 3 Certificate accepted by Auckland University and other major NZ universities Regular, honest reporting of students' progress Nurture and development of the whole person (mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially) An open enrolment policy, i.e. applications for enrolment are accepted for all children regardless of their cultural or religious background. - At Tyndale Christian School, we actively encourage every person to belong rather than attend, to become a part of the community and a part of the family. One of the main choices we face in life is whether we will be spectators or participants, and this is no different when it comes to schooling for parents, staff, and students. As you look through our website, I trust that you will not just see the facilities and activities but also get a glimpse of the place's heart and the right community we strive to be. At Tyndale Christian School, our Vision, Mission, Core Purpose, Statement of Faith, and Core Values underpin who we are and why we outwork our business in the manner in which we do. Tyndale Christian School was established to be a place of learning for students within the Christian faith context. Therefore, the core purpose of the School is to provide best practice (excellent) learning and curricula within a Christian and inclusive community. Tyndale Christian School was established by Christian parents wishing their children to be educated in an environment that would support and complement the values and faith that the families sought to inculcate in their home. The focus of the School is to provide affordable, holistic education for all students in a distinctively Christian community. The Mission of Tyndale Christian School is to do those things necessary to effectively achieve the purposes for which it exists (i.e., the Vision). While the mission's execution will involve many actions by members of the school community, two areas are essential enablers to fulfilling the Vision at the strategic level. Tyndale Christian School is named after William Tyndale, one of the early translators of the Bible into English. Just as William Tyndale was determined that everyone should have access to the Bible in their language, our School is determined to provide high quality, holistic Christian education at affordable rates, so it is accessible to everyone. Our School was established over 30 years ago by Christian parents wanting their children educated in an environment that would support their family values and faith. These foundational sentiments are still our focus today, as we are intentional about providing an excellent, inclusive, Christian education that equips our students to serve God and His world. - Tyndale Christian School is a co-educational school providing a caring and comprehensive education for over 950 students. Tyndale values the unity of vision and lifestyle that a partnership between church, home, and the school offers students. We recognize that we are members of the body of Christ and, as such, shoulder the responsibility of Christian education together. The Tyndale community has grown from an original Reformed Church base to embrace Christian parents from various Christian denominations and many cultural backgrounds. The students and families currently enrolled at Tyndale are comprised of 58 different ethnic backgrounds and represent around 100 Christian Churches. Tyndale is passionate about the care and welfare of students as they move through Pre-School to Year 12. With children at school 6-7 hours a day, we believe it is vital that parents from within the school community have an active input into staff selection. This is achieved through the Board of Directors, who are elected by an Association of parents. All staff are Christians and committed to the Lord. They are well qualified and dedicated to nurturing guide, and teach the students. Tyndale is set on 5.2 hectares and caters to students from Pre-School to Year 12. This allows families to have all their children attending the same school, eliminating the need to move to another location for High School. Our vision is to see parents and children experience the benefits of Bible-based, Christ-centred Parent-Controlled Education in order that they might be prepared and equipped for a life of service as disciples of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to serve Christian families by operating one or more schools, as the Lord enables and prospers us, and that while remaining faithful to our vision and the Reformed faith and worldview of our founders, to provide Christian education of the highest quality for as many as desire it for their children. From our Educational Creed, we read that it is the extraordinary task of the school to train the child in the use and development of his God-given talents so that he may be equipped to serve Christ as King in all spheres of life to the Glory of God and the well-being of his fellow men. Christian Schooling is Gospel work. The privilege and responsibility of a Christian School are to assist Christian parents to bring up their children in the fear and nurture of the Lord. The school is an extension of the Christian home where together parents and teachers seek to encourage children to view the world through the Gospel's lens. This view of life and the world gives excellent meaning, hope, and purpose to schooling. Tyndale's goal is to help students see that the Lord is sovereign over all of creation and that His kingdom extends to all parts of life and encourages students to honor the Lord Jesus in their learning and living. Our students are encouraged to be God's people in God's world. Therefore, the school seeks to develop in students the skills needed to survive and thrive in this world and seeks to encourage and equip them to act as agents of change in a world that needs the message of hope. Students are taught to critique the world in which they live to engage the world and live life to the full but not get trapped in its value system. Tyndale is a school where the role of parents is affirmed and encouraged. Parents are involved in all aspects of the life of the school. Teachers are partners with parents to assist them in the particular task God has given them in raising their children. We seek to make Tyndale a place where people can catch little glimpses of Heaven in the way people care for each other and how we seek to give Jesus His rightful place in education, that is, at the very center. Tyndale seeks to be a community characterized by Grace.

Tyndale continues to do this today and has expanded upon it to prepare people for their future. Tyndale offers students a university education that prepares them to work in several different professions or further graduate studies within a context that affirms a community of faith. We offer Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business, Psychology, Biblical Studies, English, History, Philosophy, and more, as well as a Bachelor of Education. Tyndale Seminary is the largest graduate school of theology in Canada. We have worked diligently to provide ease of access for students who wish to study part-time or full-time. There are multiple ways in which you can study and train. The multicultural nature of our student body makes learning exciting and challenging. You will study with professors deeply rooted in taking their subjects and placing them in a real context. This is not just a theory for them; they have had to put it into practice. Neither do we think that ministry only happens professionally through pastoral ministry. The call to faithful living is for all. Consequently, we believe in shaping and transforming people of faith to think theologically, deepen their spiritual lives, and navigate the challenges of the 21st-century world. In 2007, we acquired the Morrow Park facilities on Bayview Avenue. The Bachelor of Education program, Doctor of Ministry program, the Development office, the Alumni office, and the Tyndale Association of Spiritual Directors moved to the Bayview campus in 2009. The rest of the university and seminary joined them in Spring 2015, completing the historic move. The new campus provides 56 acres of green space and property resources to expand our course offerings and accommodate our growth. Tyndale University College & Seminary is a Christian institution of higher education standing in the Protestant Evangelical tradition. With all Christians East and West, North and South, we affirm the historic Apostles' and Nicene creeds, and we affirm our spiritual kinship with all who seek to exalt and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. We are also rooted in the Protestant Reformation with its conviction concerning the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the Scripture's normative authority. In the Evangelical awakenings tradition, we proclaim the message of personal faith in the crucified Christ and a transformed life through the Spirit. Born out of the world missionary movement of the 19th century, we continue to serve the global Church in all its cultural diversity. We embrace the biblical call to seek justice and peace and serve the poor, the vulnerable, and the oppressed. Tyndale offers a distinct undergraduate Christian university experience where students develop the skills they need to think analytically and respond to today's issues and tomorrow. Smaller classes nurture a strong sense of community and dialogue between students and professors. The university offers Bachelor's degrees and honors degrees in Arts (BA), Religious Education (BRE), a Certificate in Christian Studies and a post-undergraduate Bachelor's degree in Education (BEd). These degrees prepare graduates for dynamic careers, professional programs, graduate programs in other universities, and life. The Tyndale undergraduate university experience is known for its high-quality academics that are interwoven with faith. It is a community of students and faculty that challenges each other to live authentically, follow Christ, and actively engage their culture. Tyndale Seminary, long recognized for its innovation and creativity, prepares people to lead and live from the core of a vibrant Christian faith in a postmodern, pluralistic and multicultural society. The seminary's graduate degrees provide a comprehensive theological foundation and offer one of the largest selections of specializations in theological education in North America. Through academic rigor, practical application, and dialogue, Tyndale students develop the skills needed to examine their beliefs, work through issues, and engage their culture with the gospel. Seminary courses have been designed to be flexible programs that can be taken online and in modular, one-week intensives and traditional daytime and evening formats. Tyndale Seminary offers degrees in Doctor of Ministry (DMin), Master of Divinity (MDiv), Master of Theological Studies (MTS), Master of Theology (ThM), and Graduate Diploma programs.
