  1. Are you looking for a new school to send your children to? Well, Spectra Global School (SGS) is a great place to send your kids! We accommodate children who are eligible to attend from kindergarten up to year six. SGS is a British CIE accredited School located near Landmark Mall, Duhail. We aim to create a community in which children will experience the joy of learning and grow to become unique individuals, which of course is what all parents want. At SGS, the British Curriculum is followed for subjects taught through the medium of English (English, Mathematics, Science, ICT, Geography, History, Art and Design, Music, Physical Education, and Swimming. They follow the National Curriculum for Qatar to teach Arabic, Islamic Education, and Qatari History. SGS uses the Cambridge Primary framework to develop English, Mathematics, and Science skills and knowledge in young children. French is also taught from Year 2 to Year 6. The mission of SGS is to teach pupils to play a full part in their education, to work independently, and to think imaginatively. SGS wants its pupils to care sincerely for others, for themselves, and the world around them. SGS encourages their pupils to actively seek through their learning to discover their full potential and to appreciate an active and inquisitive life. The SGS KG curriculum is based on the UK’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) program and the Primary curriculum follows the British Cambridge International Education (CIE) program. SGS has a balanced curriculum that incorporates the arts, self-awareness, communication, and physical education along with regular studies. The curriculum takes into account that children have multiple intelligences which can be nurtured and strengthened. Whether your child is good at academics, sports, music, or visual arts, SGS aims to develop their strengths and latent potential to a world-class level. The school is located in Duhail near El Jaish Sports Club. It has several various facilities available, such as SMART boards in every classroom, an art room, a cafeteria, a dance and music room, science and IT labs, a prayer room, a media library, an indoor gymnasium, a water play area and so much more! The school year is divided into three terms. The admission process is currently ongoing for the new school year, which starts in September 2020.
