- Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences is a multidisciplinary institution of higher education and an efficient actor in education and research, development and innovation (RDI) in South Ostrobothnia in West Finland. Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences has 19 Bachelor and 7 Master degree programs. Three-degree programs are taught in English (International Business, Nursing, and a Master's Degree in International Business Management). Also, double degree programs are available in the fields of technology and Business. Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences, SeAMK, prepares professionals of the future and produces high-level applied research to promote welfare and innovations. Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences provides education to approximately 4,800-degree students. Of them, 75 percent are full-time students in 18 Bachelor-degree programs for young people, of which two are instructed in English. At Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences, there are eight Master-level degree programs related to six educational fields. In Business, the Master's degree can also be earned in English. In addition to these programs, there are multimodal courses aimed primarily at people in working life. While working, it is possible to earn a Bachelor's and Master's degrees and take further education courses. Bachelor-level multimodal implementations are also available in the six localities where the Regional University of Applied Sciences operates. In 2018, the campus structure of SeAMK will become more concentrated, with only two campuses – the main campus of Frame and the campus of Ilmajoki – as the new building of the School of Health Care and Social Work has been erected in the Frame area. We aim at operating as an independent and successful institution of higher education also in the future. Our goal is to have vast national and international cooperation networks and partnerships worth working in life and universities. Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences contains all together four faculties and six study fields. All the faculties provide higher education and are efficient actors in research, development, and innovation area. Get to know the faculties from the links below. School of Business and Culture has four bachelor degree programs and three Master's degree programs. Two of those are conducted in English. This faculty has several double degree partners all over the world. The School of Food and Agriculture contains three different fields of study. The faculty bundles these fields together around food and food processes. The bachelor's degree programs are Agriculture and Rural Enterprises, Food Processing and Biotechnology, and Hospitality Management. The Master's degree program contains them all. School of Health Care and Social Work provides six bachelor degree programs. They are Elderly Care, Nursing (Finnish and English), Public Health Nursing, Physiotherapy, Social Work. It also offers two Master's degree programs. They are called: Social Work and Development and Management of Health Care and Social Services. School of Technology provides bachelor level education in four-degree programs and master level education in two programs. It is a double degree partner with Hochschule Aschaffenburg in Germany. The School of Technology has strong RDI cooperation with enterprises in the area.
