  1. Rosedale Bible College is an evangelical junior Bible college in the Anabaptist/Mennonite tradition that equips students to grow spiritually and academically and serve effectively in the church and society. The average enrollment is approximately sixty students per term. The student body includes high school graduates, pastors, missionaries, and individuals from various vocations and professions. Students come from over half the states, several Canadian provinces, and a few foreign countries. Students studying at Rosedale pursue an associate degree in biblical studies as well as two co-curricular programs. The Associate in Biblical Studies is a two–year degree accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the Association for Biblical Higher Education. The curriculum provides for a variety of concentrations to accommodate student interests and career or service goals. Concentrations include Bible, Education, General Studies, Missions, Music and Worship, Pastoral Studies, Theology, and Youth Ministries. Our vision and prayer here at Rosedale is that you will meet Jesus in new and profound ways. Through God’s grace, RBC is a place where you can grow in both your faith and your passion for His Kingdom. Life together on campus is both exciting and challenging. The classes will stretch you and prepare you to serve Christ in the world. Learning to live in the community will strengthen you and, at times, challenge you. That is why “grace” is the operative word around the student life team. As we strive to live lives of holiness in our walks as followers of Jesus, we want grace to season everything we do. We are excited that you are considering our community as a place to lay a strong academic and spiritual foundation. We are taking a step of faith and making a million-dollar offer to CMC to expand Rosedale Bible College’s role in supporting CMC’s newly adopted vision to “mature and multiply churches locally and globally.” The Multiply Scholarship offers up to $9,000 in support to one first-time student from each congregation in CMC for the 2018-19 school year. (Or, if you prefer, you can divide it between two or three or four (e.g., $4,500 each for two students, $3,000 each for three students, etc.). That will be up to each congregation to decide.) If every congregation takes us up on the offer, the total amount awarded in scholarships will come out to $990,000. The average cost of attending RBC is around $14,000. The Multiply Scholarship reduces that to about $5,000. If a student is eligible for federal or state financial aid, the cost could go still lower. Some students may be able to attend with no out-of-pocket expense. Begun in 1952 as a six-week Bible school in Berlin, Ohio, Rosedale Bible College has developed an accredited two-year degree program that includes a core curriculum of Bible, theology, leadership, and mission courses. From simple beginnings in the Pleasant View Mennonite Church with students lodged in area homes, the school has grown to a 166-acre campus, including men’s and women’s dormitories, a classroom building, gymnasium, cafeteria, staff, and married student apartments, and library-chapel-office complex. The chapel has a seating capacity of 500 and is used to host community events and school programs. Rosedale Bible College has played a formative role in the lives of thousands of students, giving many a firmer intellectual basis for faith as well as more passion for Christ and the church. Hundreds of congregational and missionary leaders have been significantly nurtured through their institution's experiences, whether at the Bible school in Berlin, Rosedale Bible Institute, or Rosedale Bible College.
