      1. Welcome to Rafflesia International School Puchong where your child will learn in a top international school, which blends the best of eastern and western values. We follow the world-renowned International Primary Curriculum (IPC) in Primary School and Cambridge Secondary 1 & IGCSE Curriculum in our Secondary School. At Rafflesia, we believe in a holistic education where all children are highly valued and helped to maximize their abilities. As well as academic success, they will be exposed to the arts, music, sport and learn to be creative and critical thinkers. We have highly qualified and dedicated teachers who care passionately about education and who are committed to ensuring all Rafflesia students reach their full potential. Rafflesia also prepares students for the 21st-century workplace and we embrace technology and make it integral to our teaching and learning. Classrooms utilize Apple TV’s and students use iPads in their lessons. The school provides a safe learning environment where students are taught to become creative problem solvers and independent learners. This concept is also taken outside of the classroom when students go on regular field trips. A school is a community and parent involvement is both crucial and actively encouraged. We will work together to achieve the best possible experience for our students and parents are encouraged to be active participants in school life. Rafflesia continues to go from strength to strength and we aim to be one of the top international schools in Malaysia and the wider region. With a collective force of positive energy, we encourage all our students to aim for and achieve the highest academic standards. At Rafflesia, you will find learning environments where students are challenged to think creatively and independently, where students’ contributions to learning are valued and explored. Our learning spaces are attractive and well-resourced. Apple technology is used creatively to provide immersive learning and to enable students to acquire sophisticated, future-focused ICT skills. Outside the classroom, the Rafflesia enrichment program allows students to further develop their academic abilities as well as attributes-for-life: habits of mind such as determination and resilience interpersonal capacities such as leadership skills and self-discipline. Within our community, we are all learners. We invest deeply in the professional development of our teachers so that we can provide learning experiences that are active and dynamic. We understand the profound impact of fluently structured lessons, thought-provoking activities, focused feedback, constructive classroom dialogues, cogent questioning. We focus on getting the details of teaching and learning right. And we understand and value the diverse ways in which parents can enhance learning. Our Mission is to provide: A strong foundation to develop life-related skills and competencies. Quality education with global vision and traditional values. Experiential learning. Qualified, experienced, and caring staff. A connected learning environment and community.</ Enjoyment in learning, taking place in a relaxed, yet purposeful, atmosphere. The very best combination of eastern and western educational approaches. Preparation for life in the 21st century as international citizens. Smooth progression to tertiary education. View full school
      2. Taylor's International School Puchong (TIS Puchong) offers a global learning experience based on the highly valued National Curriculum for England, which leads to excellence in IGCSE qualifications, as well as being grounded in the best of Eastern and Western values for character building. TIS Puchong is the second campus of Taylor’s International School. It is a purpose-built campus and the School welcomed its first cohort of students in January 2015. Built on a 7.88-acre site, TIS Puchong is complete with state-of-the-art facilities to provide a conducive world-class learning environment for students. TIS Puchong is located in the suburb of Bandar Bukit Puchong 2 and is situated in between the Puchong-Damansara Highway (LDP) and South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE). The location is very strategic and is easily accessible via the highways to Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, Serdang, Kuala Lumpur, Subang Jaya, Kajang, Shah Alam, and Sunway. TIS Puchong offers not only a new blueprint for international educational excellence but also the advantages of a nurturing learning environment. Taylor’s Education Group has 9 institutions with over 22,000 students in Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam. We offer a comprehensive and seamless educational experience from Early Years up to IGCSE at Taylor's International School. As a continuation towards tertiary and postgraduate studies, our network includes premiere institutions in Taylor's College and Taylor's University. Our character-building principles are grounded in the best of Eastern and Western philosophies, deeply instilled in our international curriculum through a holistic approach in education. We train and encourage students to be leaders who are passionate and caring about the community and the environment around them, creating positive influences in our growing global society. We provide balanced learning experiences that call forth a passion for learning by covering six key areas of development called the six dimensions of learning. We believe these areas of focus will better nurture lifelong learners and equip students with the essential skills, confidence, and knowledge that will give them an edge on the ever-competitive global stage. For TISPC, what needs to be done has to be viewed in the context of the varied nature of our pupil cohort which sets us a challenge to provide not only a rigorous and balanced curriculum for our learners but also to ensure that pastorally, pupils are fully and appropriately supported. This way, our aims to ensure positive personal growth in tandem with academic success are set clearly for all as part of our core RECIPE values. The world we live in is more dynamic than ever before. This dynamism, hastened by the emergence of ever more complex technologies that give access to ever-increasing quantities of information, throws up huge challenges for young people hoping to make their way in what is for them, a largely undefined world. To function in such an environment is a challenge for our pupils and the teachers at TISPC. We are all well aware of the importance of value-added attributes for those pupils applying for further study institutions where academic excellence is largely a given or those applying to employers with high standards and a broad field of candidates from which to draw. In such cases, the keys to success lie in what a candidate can offer in terms of experiences, personal qualities, skills, and, importantly the ability to use their school academic and pastoral knowledge and apply it practically to real-world problems. Firmly founded on the British curriculum but inclusive of the best an international education has to offer, TISPC aims to help equip our young people with the tools to function and excel in our increasingly globalized world. Tools to investigate, analyze, learn, cooperate and communicate skills and ideas to others. The need to develop pupils as knowledgeable, globally aware, compassionate, and effective individuals is greater than ever and our focus is, therefore, to ensure that the pupil experience at TISPC is geared towards providing such opportunities in all contexts. Our staff hails from a variety of educational backgrounds in Malaysia and international educational contexts. As life-long learners themselves, they are all committed to providing the best possible education for all our pupils. Working closely with our sister school in Kuala Lumpur, we have a rich, varied, and growing curriculum that includes a strong co-curricular component. Our strength on the sports field, in a variety of specialisms, increasingly sees us as a force to be reckoned with. View full school
