Penza State University is a modern university, developing rapidly, yet retaining its time-honored traditions. Penza State Technological University is an associate member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE). Evaluating the criteria "Graduates' competitiveness" Russian independent rating agency in the sphere of education ReiTor placed the University's programs of training "Machine-building" and "Economics and Management" into the first (top) league and "IT and telecommunications" into the second league. The expert survey organized by the publishing house Accreditation in Education in 2010-2011 declared some of the University's educational programs the best programs of innovative Russia. Seeking to become an active member of the international community in teaching and research, PenzSTU considers the development of cooperation with foreign partners to be one of its top-priory tasks. enzSTU is a partaker of Microsoft IT Academy programs and has a Microsoft IT University training center. Prometric and Certiport test centers have recently been certified. The University has been a member of several international organizations, among them.
