- To ensure your child receives the best education, we provide an environment in which all learners are safe, happy, supported, and challenged. Every decision we make as a school will place your child’s needs first. All students at Ninestiles can make a positive contribution to their community and will have the same opportunities and choices as each other to succeed. At Ninestiles, we encourage students to develop their curiosity, creativity, and divergent thinking to develop a love of learning that will stay with them throughout life. This will enable them to lead happy and successful lives as we prepare them for independence, future challenges, and instill values of tolerance, respect, and fairness – achieving success with the highest outcomes whilst valuing others. Our teachers and support staff are also a community of learners and their professional curiosity drives improvements in teaching and learning for the students through purposeful learning in an engaging curriculum. We expect students to have high expectations of themselves and others we welcome and expect the support of family and friends and we share a commitment to work in partnership with parents. Ninestiles School will be nationally and internationally acknowledged as a high achieving, innovative and exciting school which recognizes and celebrates the diversity of its community. It will be structured and resourced to meet the needs of 21st-century students. Within a caring environment, we will develop and reinforce the values, skills, and attributes which promote good citizens and lifelong learning. Our appropriately skilled workforce, students, parents, governors, and the wider community will work in partnership to ensure that high-quality learning takes place. The school will do all it can to ensure that its policies do not discriminate, directly or indirectly. We shall do this through regular monitoring and evaluation of our policies and procedures. On review, we shall assess and consult relevant stakeholders on the likely impact of our policies on the promotion of race equality, equality for disabled persons, gender equality, and community cohesion. Policies and procedures may be amended as a result of the consultation. At Ninestiles Academy we strive to ensure that all students achieve their potential personally, socially, emotionally, and academically in all areas of the curriculum (regardless of their gender, ethnicity, social background, religion, sexual identity, physical ability, or educational needs). This document is intended to give you information regarding how we ensure that we support all of our students, including those with SEND so that they can realize their full potential.
