We believe that community involvement helps your child see life from another perspective and develops foundational tools for their life. At the heart of our school culture is our community’s desire to be highly valued and for your children to be committed to serving. Taking part in service to our community teaches students to think outside of themselves and develops a sense of belonging to the community in which they live. As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. This school has been a part of the Muswellbrook community since 1999, formerly as Muswellbrook Christian School. In 2018, the school joined the Pacific Group of Schools. Pacific Group of Schools is a network of 7 schools across NSW. We are Christ-centered and offer high-quality education for students from Kindergarten to Year Six. Our vision is to be a Christian educational community centered on teaching, learning, and serving excellence founded on Biblically-based beliefs, values, and behaviors. We do this by teaching who we are in Christ and God’s plan for us. We focus on excellent education in a small class environment, enabling each student to get the attention and support they need. We strive to create a caring community where teachers, parents, and students work together in partnership. We are a fully registered school with NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority) and offer courses from Kindergarten to Year 6 using the Australian curriculum, and taught from a Christian perspective. Knowing your child means that we recognize that each child is different, with unique gifts and talents. We want to know your child’s talents, and we want to know what areas your child may need support in. Teaching your child means that we will teach your child based on where they are academic to progress and achieve success. We will strive to cater to each child’s learning style by creating academically challenging and stimulating programs. A teacher’s aide will work with students who require extra support in literacy and numeracy. Caring for your child means that we want every child to feel valued for who they are. We will create a safe and supportive environment for every child because when children are safe and supported, they will learn better and make friends more easily. We also strive to make the school a bully-free school.
