  1. Moama Anglican Grammar School is situated on a picturesque and expansive 10 hectares, adjacent to the Moama Sporting Precinct on the NSW-Victorian border. The school is the region's only institution offering K-12 education on the one campus, enabling our students to pass seamlessly across Primary and Secondary School's traditional transition points. Our focus is on each student as an individual, seeking to assist them in achieving their potential. We aim for our students to develop a strong sense of honor, caring for themselves, others, and the world they live in. Moama Anglican Grammar has grown into a vibrant and successful School. It all began with a vision of the Murray Shire Council to have a secondary school in Moama. In May 2004, approximately one hundred people convened at the St James Anglican Church and supported the new initiative. From this initial meeting, a steering committee was established. The steering committee sought advice and expertise, adopted a constitution, registered a company, and created a management board. They advised the Federal Government of their intention to commence a school by Term 1, 2005. The new Board obtained a banker, overdraft guarantors, and acquired two private loans to allow computers and a suitable building. Moama Anglican Grammar is set in the idyllic location of Echuca/Moama on the Murray River. It is the only independent private school in the region. Moama Anglican Grammar provides its students with a dynamic and engaging learning environment focusing on visible thinking skills and pastoral care. The school's credo of Honour and Excellence guides us as we work in partnership with our families to develop young people who will be future leaders. Our focus is on each student as an individual, and they are at the center of all that we do at Moama Anglican Grammar. Students at our school can achieve their personal best in both academic and co-curricular pursuits to become well-rounded people of character. Our very committed staff provides a nurturing environment to ensure that every student achieves success and realizes their full potential. As students move through primary levels, they develop conceptual learning, emergent thinking, and mastery acquisition skills. They acquire an understanding of what determines logical and scientific questions and what counts as evidence in dealing with such questions. They develop an intricate knowledge of the history and culture they are inheriting and which they, in turn, will shape. They are exposed to Languages, Music and Performance, Visual Arts, Information Technology and Health and Physical Development, Health and Physical Education and Sport. By the time students reach Secondary School, they have developed the skills to learn and cooperate effectively within teams, a feature of contemporary work and society. Throughout this transition, students cultivate an understanding of the way to think, problem solves, and how to treat other members of the community with respect and care. In Secondary School, students gain a sense of their place and value. They are more self-directed and begin to specialize in their areas of interest, looking forward to tertiary entry via the Higher School Certificate, entry to work or apprenticeships, and other diverse pathways to the future. Our secondary curriculum offers a broad range of core and elective subjects to support students' diverse interests and abilities. The learning partnership between home and school, teacher and student, becomes more potent as students move through adolescence into young adults.
