Maastricht University (UM) is proud of its international study body. A full 51% of our students come from abroad, making UM the most international university in the Netherlands. The majority of our programs embrace international themes and are taught either entirely or partly in English. Our academic staff is also highly diverse, with roughly 40% coming from abroad. Each year, UM welcomes hundreds of foreign exchange students, while almost 40% of our students participate in study-abroad programs.
