Our mission is to encourage and recognize the excellence of students and staff, provide a supportive environment for them to be lifelong learners, and promote thinking and research skills to nurture productive and responsible citizens. JIS seeks to be a center for excellence in education providing its students with a sound cognitive foundation for their lives and preparing them for admission to the universities of their desire. We at JIS prepare our students to be capable and responsible to lead their potential life in the face of challenges standing ahead of them in the future. We also motivate self-learning and develop the ability to make them able to take decisions in shaping their country, learn about their heritage and be open-minded for the world. As the world is growing and expanding rapidly, JIS offers an educational environment based on dialogue preparing girls who are going to be mothers in the future to be the strong block the community can be based on. We also seek to build and keep outstanding relationships with other schools in and outside Jordan through exchanging views, visits, experiences, and knowledge. Students from outside Jordan are also offered the chance to learn more about Jordan and its outstanding heritage through regular visits to JIS.
