The Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (IFNTUOG), established in 1967, is the market leader in providing high-level technical and non-technical training services to Ukraine's energy sector – a primary driver of the Ukrainian economy. IFNUOG's In-Service Institute offers lifelong professional development and certification programs to meet managerial staff and specialists' demands in different branches. IFNTUOG's primary objective is to become a sustainable, effective, and efficient school that will promote lifelong learning and embed internationalism into its activities. At IFNTUOG, we offer the broadest range of engineering degree course specializations in the country, all delivered through our School of Petroleum Engineering. IFNTUOG Institute of Environmental Engineering currently comprises six departments. It trains specialists whose work deals with land surveying and environmental protection. The Institute cooperates with Environmental Protection Agency (the USA), Stanislaw Staszic University of Mining and Metallurgy, University of Lethbridge (Canada), Philipps-Universität Marburg (Germany), North University of Baia Mare (Romania), International Centre for Regional Research of Environment of Central and Eastern Europe (Brno, Czech Republic Vienna, Austria) and others. Thus, our students have an opportunity to do an internship in foreign companies in Germany, Turkey, Greece, Poland, and others. Our University will equip you with the necessary tools to push the boundaries of modern technology and profoundly impact the world. Highly skilled technical staff and fully equipped instrumentation, electronics, and mechanical workshops support the sophisticated facilities and equipment necessary to sustain the school's research activities. Institute of Fundamental Sciences, Liberal Arts and Distance Learning was established as an educational, managerial, academic research department that carries out the admission of on-the-job students into the University based on Bachelor's, Specialist's and Master's educational programs and provides the academic activity of the University with the liberal arts and fundamental sciences. Annually, the countries' geography from which international students come for studying at IFNTUOG becomes more diverse.
