      1. Erudio School of Science (ESoS) is a non-formal high school level educational institution that focuses on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Our Vision is to inspire better life through science, technology, engineering, and math education. Our Mission is to create a learning environment that can maximize the potential and uniqueness of each student, nurture creativity, encourage exploration, and guide the self-finding process. At the same time, we aspire to be one of the growth contributors of science, technology, engineering, and math in Indonesia. We believe that every child has the same right as grown-ups to decide everything related to their interests, especially in the learning process. We also believe that students and grown-ups can both be the source of information everyone is a teacher and everyone is a student. That is why we choose a democratic learning environment as our core foundation, to allow the students to grow and learn to be responsible for their own decision. Democratic education infuses the learning process with these fundamental values of our society. Democratic education sees young people not as passive recipients of knowledge, but rather as active co-creators of their learning. They are not the products of an education system but rather valued participants in a vibrant learning community. Democratic education begins with the premise that everyone is unique, so each of us learns differently. By supporting the individual development of each young person within a caring community, democratic education helps young people learn about themselves, engage with the world around them, and become positive and contributing members of society. The academic program at Erudio School of Science emphasizes every aspect of our student’s growth and development. We take advantage of the natural curiosity students to possess by having our teachers present new information in creative ways and teach through exploratory experiences. Our general curriculum includes a variety of challenging courses that meet or exceed state requirements. Suitable class sizes and exceptional, qualified teachers allow Erudio School of Science to offer an intimate and inclusive educational environment, while also ensuring each student receives the individualized attention and support they need. Because everything is project-based, aside from the basic foundations that every student needs to know about science, technology, engineering, and math, everything else is quite fluid. We will give our best to find masters and experts in their respective fields, especially in the area of math and computer science to help the students learn whatever they need to finish their projects. As a benchmark, we are using the National Curriculum of 2013 and Pearson Education's BTEC A and AS Level Diploma in Math, Advanced Math, Computer Science, Advanced Computer Science, and Natural Science to develop the basic sets of topics that the students can choose from. We also provide them with necessary soft skills such as project management, research skills and methods, presentation and communication, and life skills (including how to survive in a city using public transportation, and how to survive a wild with a minimum budget). First, is the National High School Equivalency Program, which is a non-formal school equivalent to a formal high-school diploma. The students will have a choice to take the Natural Science High School Diploma Equivalency or the Social Science High School Equivalency Diploma. Erudio students have been accepted in numerous National (ITB, UI, UGM, etc.) and Private Universities (Binus, UPH, UNPAR, etc.) using these diplomas. Second, we are also a BTEC Center accredited by Pearson Education UK since 2012. We are in the process to get qualified to give A and AS Level 2 and 3, in Math, Advanced Math, Computer Science, Advanced Computer Science, Natural Science, and English Language Diplomas. They can go on to study for a foundation degree, an HND, or a BA degree in many Universities all around the world. View full school
