  1. The biggest advantages of Cracow University of Technology (CUT) are: over the 70-year-old tradition of educating engineers, modernity, and openness to change as well as hard work on the improvement of the Polish scientific and technical thought. Thanks to them CUT won a strong position and well-established brand. We give our students the most durable capital in the labor market - knowledge! About 78 thousand students graduated from CUT - a huge crowd of well-prepared engineering professionals. We focus on ensuring high quality of education giving students the most durable and most valuable asset - knowledge. The Cracow University of Technology ensures the highest ethical standards and a high scientific level. Many of the nearly 1 200 researchers and tutors are outstanding professionals who participate in intercollegiate and international research teams. Their knowledge and expertise allow our university to maintain a high position in Polish and the international scientific community. In the framework of bilateral agreements and the Erasmus + program, Cracow University of Technology conducts research cooperation and student exchange with several hundred universities in 47 countries around the world. Students can develop and deepen their interest by joining 82 CUT scientific associations, whose activities often go beyond the walls of the university. They have the opportunity to develop a passion for sports becoming members of the CUT Academic Sports Association and using the CUT Sports and Recreation Centre. Our social and sports facilities belong to the most modern and sophisticated of all Cracow universities and technical universities in Poland. The university offers its students over 2 thousand places in four dormitories. The university is a patron of many cultural undertakings in Cracow. It supports the operation of Teatr Zależny (Zależny Theater), the Academic Choir Cantata, and the Orchestra of the Old Town of Cracow that operates under the auspices of CUT. Our university also organizes many exhibitions in its galleries Gil, Kotłownia, and the galleries at its faculties. CUT releases its monthly newspaper, runs Internet radio, has its library and a publishing house. Cracow University of Technology (CUT) has been training engineering staff for more than seventy years. Graduates of our university are highly valued in the labor market, which is reflected in the fact that among all Polish universities Cracow University of Technology took first place in the ranking of employers in 2008. This is no doubt thanks to the alumni, but also it is proof that the majors offered by our university are attractive and relevant to labor market needs and the education of generations of engineers is of high quality. The current educational offer of the Cracow University of Technology includes 29 majors of undergraduate and graduate programs, which are conducted at 7 faculties of the university. Such a wide range of choices means a variety of intellectual exploration and the ability to solve challenging tasks under the supervision of well-qualified teaching staff, both within the framework of mandatory classes, as well as in 80 scientific student associations operating at our university. Among more than 1,200 teachers, you can meet many outstanding professionals who participate in intercollegiate research teams, both domestic and international. Their expertise and knowledge allow our university to maintain the appropriate position in Poland and the international scientific community. Thanks to the international contacts of CUT faculty, our students have the possibility of participating in exchange programs abroad based on agreements signed by Cracow University of Technology with universities around the world. Experience gained this way is extremely valuable from the point of view of a young man/woman who starts their career. It should also be noted that 9 of our majors were contracted by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education in the academic year 2012/2013.
  2. The Pedagogical University of Cracow, named after the Commission of National Education, is the largest and one of the oldest pedagogical universities in Poland, which has long been prized for a well-deserved reputation. The achievements of numerous generations of the teaching staff and students (over 150 thousand graduates), as well as the efforts of the employees, who want to continue modern education responding to the challenges of the twenty-first century, as well as cooperation with the renowned academic institutions in Europe, have formed the present University. Maintaining a high level of education in the Humanities, Social Sciences, Educational Sciences, Natural Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Technical Sciences and Fine Arts to the highest European standards, as well as the regular extension of the educational offer and making it more attractive, and continuing internationalization of scientific research in various areas of professional interest of the academic staff is at present the main objective of the activity and in the plans of the authorities and the Senate of the Pedagogical University. Apart from the highest level of education of students – which is and has been our priority – we focus on the continuous development of academics and their cooperation with strong centers, domestic and foreign, as well as raising funds for research grants. The ultimate goal is to prepare our students and graduates for their future careers and achievements according to their skills and expectations. The variety of educational programs on offer at our University – currently being adapted to the needs of the labor market – is truly impressive. It includes dozens of fields of studies at the first and second degree levels, Ph.D. degree studies, and postgraduate studies in six faculties (seven shortly): Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Philology, Faculty of Pedagogy, Faculty of Geography and Biology, Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Technical Science and Faculty of Art. Our students and doctoral students truly have a lot to choose from. For many years we have attached particular importance to the practical learning of foreign languages at the Department of Foreign Languages. Foreign language skills are essential for functioning well in a globalized world in the twenty-first century and are crucial for students learning under the Erasmus program, which is connected with departure to foreign partner universities and participation in lectures and courses in the language of the host country. We have significantly expanded the infrastructure of the University with the construction of another university building at ul. Podchorążych 2, which is ultra-modern, has well-equipped course rooms and laboratories, and has multimedia classrooms and multiple-stand computer rooms, enabling teaching as well as the use of e-learning platforms. Students have the rich collections of the Main Library, faculty libraries, and institute libraries at their disposal. They may participate in scientific circles, become active in organizations and associations, join Students’ Self-Government and Doctoral Students’ Self-Government, practice sports using modern facilities available at the Sports and Recreation Centre, including an indoor swimming pool and fitness room, and pursue musical passions at the Mixed Choir “Educators” and the symphony orchestra. Over six thousand students started studying in the academic year 2016/2017, educated by almost one thousand teachers. I am convinced that it is worth studying and pursuing life aspirations at the Pedagogical University of Cracow, a friendly place for people to work, rest, and live well, in the city of kings, Nobel Prize winners, and saints.
  3. Cracow University of Economics (CUE) is the largest school of economics in Poland, and the third biggest university in Cracow, a major Polish academic center. The University was the first institution of higher education in Poland to introduce studies in English in the early 1990s. CUE graduates are among the most successful in Poland in matching their knowledge and skills with the employer's needs. For international students, we offer specially designed programs in English (see Education). The University enjoys several international contacts, as the faculty and student visits abroad for scientific purposes as well as foreign internships and training programs are one of the University's priorities. In the era of the knowledge society and globalization processes, the modern economy should be strongly supported by science to face the challenges of the international market. Our University takes responsibility for the preparation of both Poles and many foreign students to work in the new global market. International cooperation between scientists and individuals involved in the industry is the most critical link, which is based on the knowledge that reaches far beyond Poland's boundaries. The Cracow University of Economics has five Faculties, all of which have full academic rights. These faculties - Faculty of Economics and International Relations, Faculty of Public Economy and Administration, Faculty of Finance and Law and Faculty of Commodity Science and Faculty of Management - consists of numerous Chairs and Departments, offers various study opportunities for students and professionals, and conduct basic and applied research. The Cracow University of Economics, located in the very center of the city, boasts very impressive infrastructure. The University campus occupies 7 hectares of land and its facilities include both modern and historic buildings (from the XIX century). There is a large sport and teaching complex composed of two buildings with an indoor swimming pool, a full-sized gym, a fitness room, and large conference rooms. Students have access to modern lecture rooms, the library, specialized laboratories, and computer rooms, and sports facilities. The University is also concerned about the comfort of its disabled students - all the campus facilities are equipped with wheelchair ramps or lifts for the physically disabled as well as specially adjusted lavatories.
