      1. Condell Park Christian School, now in its 39th year, is an integral and inseparable part of the ministry of Condell Park Bible Church. Under the leadership of the Pastor of the Church, who is also the Chairman of the School Board, the church-school staff provides thoroughly Christian education to the children through the church and school's many ministry opportunities. The church-school staff is complemented in this task by the greater school community. Parents, church-school staff, and other church members all harmonize in relating to students individually and modeling Biblical living. Christian character development is considered of equal priority to academic mastery in the life of the student. Within the curriculum, all teaching and learning activities are taught from a Biblical perspective since the purpose of the Christian school is to obey the Scriptural imperatives of Deuteronomy 6:5-7a: "... love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children ..." and of Proverbs 22:6, "... train up a child in the way he should go ..." The school commenced using the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) program of self-instructional learning packages exclusively. Over the years, we have significantly changed our approach to curriculum and pedagogy. The school now functions in a traditional interactive classroom format, where group learning, learning through manipulatives, use of a range of technologies, and peer support/monitoring are commonplace. Education professionals have highly commended our methods of educational delivery for several years. The church-school believes that no person can be thoroughly educated unless they have a love for and proficiency in reading the Word of God. Therefore the school has a strong literacy development program commencing in Kindergarten. The school is also committed to all of its students developing real strength in numeracy since today's society's functionality requires a high level of competence in numeracy. The school is also highly committed to addressing enrolled children with disabilities and special learning needs. With both regular inputs from special education advisors and students' performance testing, the Special Education coordinator, teachers, and teachers' aides implement strategies to assist children with such learning challenges, in close collaboration with parents. The small school environment facilitates a beneficial program for assisting these exceptional children. Condell Park Christian School is a church school exempt from registration on religious grounds for Years K-12 (Stages 1 to 6), by NESA. In compliance with Section 75 of the Education Act 1990, the school must meet the requirements for registration, should it wish to apply for this status. In addition to English, Mathematics, Science, and History/Geography, the school offers Visual & Creative Arts, Drama, Music, and themes within the key learning area of Personal Development, Health and Physical Education. In secondary school, Band is offered as an elective. Bible Storytime for K-2 students and Bible Devotions classes for Years 3-12 are included in the curriculum, where students have the opportunity to learn and apply Biblical principles in all of life.
