Cannon Lane is a large all-through primary school with an annual intake of 120 children. As part of an ambitious expansion program, the school has benefitted from a significant financial investment that has provided us with new, state-of-the-art facilities for our children to enjoy. Cannon Lane is a successful school with a very good reputation in the local community. Our aim is for children to be happy, safe, and successful and to enjoy their time in school. We are very pleased to have been awarded the ’Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM)’ Flagship status in recognition of our commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for all children. We have high expectations of ourselves and the children we teach. All staff and pupils play a key role in achieving these aims by treating one another with respect and by sharing and celebrating success. We aim to excel, not only in the core curriculum but also through other areas such as music, sport, and the arts. We look to provide a holistic education that is grounded in moral, social, and spiritual values. Established in 1969, Cannon School is a junior kindergarten through grade 12 independent college preparatory school. More than 980 students and 100 full-time faculty members make up our learning community. As we approach our 50th anniversary as a school community in 2019-2020, we look forward to living out this new statement with Cannon families and friends to support this incredible generation of young people. The Cannon School community has the responsibility to prepare students for a world that promises to be unpredictable. Welcome to Cannon Hill Anglican College and to our website, which we trust will offer a glimpse of the unique learning environment highly valued by our community. Since the College's foundation in 1989, we have regarded the well-being of the individual as vital to the health of the whole community. With Courage and Compassion, we welcome you to CHAC. The College's current Strategic Plan, launched late in 2014, is now two-thirds through its lifecycle. It is rewarding to see them coming to fruition of many of the strategic priorities identified following extensive consultation with CHAC's stakeholders back in 2014. All projects are undertaken and decisions made are under the overarching Strategic Priorities of the College.
