Borneo International School is part of an Educational Group of international and private schools in Malaysia which includes Nobel International, United International, Havil International, and Legacy private schools that has more than 15 years of involvement in education. The whole purpose of establishing Borneo International School at its readily accessible site in Tabuan Laru is to bring realistic and affordable fees to families who have never before considered private internationally recognized education for their children. Borneo International School is co-educational and follows the British educational system so that our students will receive international educational qualifications via Cambridge University International Examinations (CIE), for which we are an accredited examination center. Such credentials are recognized worldwide for entrance into university and other forms of tertiary education. Indeed, we at Borneo International School strongly believe that laying the proper moral and educational foundations will prepare our children for academic excellence and develop their character. Children who are equipped with extensive yet applicable knowledge whilst possessing virtuous characters will be welcomed additions to society. Accordingly, Borneo International School is offering our students an internationally acclaimed educational system through our adoption of the United Kingdom’s Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) syllabus. In addition, we conduct character-transformation programs (using materials that have been developed in-house) to equip our students with a broader spectrum of understanding and addressing societal issues. This will help prepare them for more informed decision-making at all stages of development into adulthood. We will strive to develop our student's moral attributes within the framework of a mutually respectful and caring environment.
