The University of Bejaia, created in October 1983, is a multidisciplinary public institution. It now has more than 40,900 students, 1,442 teachers, and 1,079 technical and administrative staff, spread over eight faculties: Technology - Exact Sciences - Law and Legal and Administrative Sciences - Natural Sciences and Life - Language and Literature - Science human and Social - Economic Sciences, Management Sciences and Commercial Sciences - Medical Sciences. The University of Bejaia has managed to develop training more and more in tune with the world of work.
