- The University has always been on the front lines of advances in research and technology, resolving important economic, social and political issues, contributing to Russian higher education's glory, and is still there now. In 2006 we won the first-ever contest of innovative universities in Russia, held under National Priority Project "Education." In 2009, in recognition of our position among the leading Russian universities, we were awarded a National Research University's highly prestigious status. In 2013 we won a grant for entering the international university ratings and became one of the top 15 universities in Russia. Our students have a unique chance to progress in science using the one-of-a-kind research equipment, latest educational programs, and most modern informational technologies. We have recently opened 12 new research and educational centers. These include the interuniversity media-center with the "Sergei Korolev" – the most powerful supercomputer in the Volga region, Povolzhie Center for Space Geoinformatics for studies into aircraft aero-dynamics, machinery vibration and acoustics, nanotechnologies, SAM-technologies. These centers educate and train specialists on every level – from skilled workers to postgraduates. They prepare personnel with skills and knowledge vitally crucial for economics, high-technological industries, state research centers, and aerospace corporations – all these work in close contact with Samara University. Our University is acknowledged as the core university for the Samara aerospace cluster. Our glorious traditions and the University's high mission are reflected in our history and our achievements. Over 60 thousand alumni, working all over Russia and beyond, call Samara University their alma mater. In June 2016, new interdisciplinary research and education subdivisions - Strategical Academic Units (StrAU) - were formed based on the leading research teams of Samara University actively participating in the educational activity. - The Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation and its goals and objectives is due to its profile. The University was founded in hard early forties, and it still keeps moving upwards. Within more than 70 years, the University has grown from a narrowly-specialized restricted admission institute to become a significant research and education center. We are incredibly proud of the fact that at the same time, we managed to maintain all our traditional educational fields. We have retained one of the unique education profiles, Aerospace Instrumentation. The first artificial satellite in 1957, Yuri Gagarin’s flight in 1961, and the successful launch of the Buran spacecraft in 1988 are among the achievements of Soviet astronautics accomplished due to our staff, students, and graduates. In 2011 SUAI headed the North West Aerospace Cluster. However, our University is nowadays not just about space and aviation. Its new educational fields include innovation studies and informatics, data protection and international relations, law, linguistics, and many others. The University currently consists of 6 institutes, six faculties, and more than 40 departments, and it offers over 200 educational programs. The admission quotas and enrollment competition are increasing every year. We also develop new ways of an educational organization. SUAI implements several further education, supplementary training, and professional retraining programs. The University also offers Applied Bachelor’s Degree programs, which appeared in Russia as recently as 2013. Degrees awarded by SUAI are appreciated in Russia and abroad. At the moment, more than 600 students from 39 countries are studying at our University as well as our students and staff regularly participate in exchange programs and internships. USA, Canada, Italy, France, Spain, Finland, and China are just a few countries we cooperate with. Higher education is like a launching pad. We provide a successful start, and the achievements of our graduates prove it. Many of our graduates have become leading scientists, heads of national science and industry institutions, and statesmen. The SUAI’s Mission comprises: Integrating educational, scientific, cultural, and innovation activities Meeting the needs of the society and the state in a wide range of educational programs Developing the most promising trends in science, engineering, and technology Training highly qualified and competent specialists Influencing scientific and technological development, socioeconomic and cultural growth of the North-West Region, and other RF entities.

- KAU is exceedingly confident that we played significant roles in Korea's aerospace industry by fostering its experts. Building the NARO rocket and ranking sixth place in air transportation throughout the world truly represent our great efforts. Our curriculum penetrates the overall aerospace field, including aircraft and spacecraft design, flight operations, air traffic management, logistics, air and space law, and airport management. We also carry co-research with world-renowned global corporations such as GE, Airbus, and, etc. KAU's Regulations specify the underlying mission of its education programs: "KAU fosters capable persons equipped with strong leadership qualities and professional competence, while it teaches and researches theories and application methods in the domain of aerospace science and technologies, as well as in other academic fields that are essential to the development of Korean society and the human race general development of Korean society and the human race." Under the terms of such a mission, KAU practices its founders' objectives of fostering capable leaders who will discharge their historic responsibilities in the new age by developing their frontier spirit and equipping them with a real intellectual culture and advanced scientific technologies. KAU practices a code of conduct embodied in its precepts of "A clean body and mind, wide learning and creativity, and harmony and unity" by pursuing the whole person's education. These precepts emphasize the harmony between practicality and humanity based on the general ideals of university education as provided under the Education Act, whereby "A university teaches and studies in-depth theories and seeks extensive and ingenious methods for their application, an essential element in the development of the nation and the human community". In particular, it presents KAU'sunique goal by specifying a further defining provision in its educational mission of "theories of aerospace science and technologies and their application methods". Though KAU has undergone developmental processes filled with both hardship and honor, intertwined like our motherland's turbulent history, it has steadily nurtured expert personnel in aviation who now carry out critical roles in many different sectors of society. No one can deny that KAU graduates have provided tremendous service in all the fields related to aviation. Dedicated to the nation's development, they perform their roles faithfully, serve with integrity, and uphold the steadfast KAU spirit symbolized by the falcon. Making our University a more playful, positive, respectful, safe, and productive learning and working environment. To make this happen, We already have a plan in place, with input from many KAU leaders. We will experience some inconvenience in the following years due to various construction and campus groundwork, including a new on-campus housing complex. These changes will help all KAU family members feel their esteem soar. But it is just the beginning. We will even plan for future expansion. Making our University a source of an internationally competitive workforce and great leaders, especially in aviation/aerospace and related emerging areas. The nation and the world need competitive and prepared leaders and individuals. Technology is evolving much faster than one can imagine. New fields are emerging every year. Knowledge and training in computers, economics, and English have become prerequisites for almost all professions in this global society. We need to position ourselves to adapt to these changes effectively.
