      1. Greater Brighton Metropolitan College (MET) was created from the merger of City College Brighton and Northbrook College Sussex. It is the College for our City and our region and draws on 150 years of heritage, history, and experience. We offer a comprehensive range of qualifications for 16-19-year-olds, university degrees, full and part-time courses for adults, apprenticeships, and professional qualifications. The MET operates across five campuses in Brighton, Shoreham, Worthing, and we teach around 3,500 16-18 year-olds, 1,000 undergraduates, 7,500 adult learners, and 800 apprentices. More than 1,000 expert staff work with our students to equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to prepare them for the world of work - to encourage support and inspire them. The MET helps build the self-belief, confidence, and bravery our students need to meet and exceed their aspirations. At the MET, we believe it is our job to celebrate ambition, unlock potential, and transform lives. To succeed in life, even the most talented people have to show tenacity and drive. Our students work hard now to build a brighter future. For 150 years, our College has produced some of our region's most exceptional talent. Working together, we are all delivering to our local community. We welcome people from all walks of life, in all subjects in one of the UK's most vibrant and cosmopolitan city regions. We recognize that people have different starting points and different goals. We are known for our creative spirit. Everyone at the College is encouraged to take risks and solve problems in new and sometimes unique ways. We strive for excellence in everything we do. In our work and our expectations of our students. By equipping our students with the knowledge and skills they need, we will prepare them for life and work. By encouraging, supporting, and inspiring them, we will build the self-belief, confidence, and resilience they need to meet their goals and aspirations. The MET was formed from the merger of City College Brighton & Hove and Northbrook College Sussex. Our vision is to be recognized by students, staff, employers, and all our communities as exceptional technical, vocational, and professional education providers. By equipping our students with the knowledge and skills they need, we will prepare them for life and work.
