At Trinity, you will find a school that is modern, dynamic, friendly, unpretentious, and diverse, as well as being truly anchored in the community. We enjoy superb facilities and, more importantly, excellent teachers and support staff, dedicated to working together to offer the balanced, all-around education which is our commitment to you and your child.

Each child will have a unique journey through Trinity. We have established a positive and friendly community in which they will belong and can thrive, both academically, by achieving excellent examination results, and personally by developing a wide range of interests and skills beyond examinations and academic work. We want to inspire every pupil to take advantage of the incredible breadth of opportunities available.

Being a school just for boys up to Year 11 means we can concentrate on their particular interests and on building their confidence and self-esteem. We design teaching specifically for the needs of bright boys, helping them to benefit from the social and academic interactions that will shape their time here. In the Sixth Form they, along with our Sixth Form girls, are ready to make the most of all the educational and social advantages of our co-educational environment.

Our Mission is "The rigorous pursuit of excellence balanced by compassionate concern for individuals".We aim to achieve this by :

    • Encouraging the growth of intellectual curiosity, creativity, and independent learning whilst also preparing each boy for the best possible examination results, through a broadly based, coherent, and balanced curriculum.
    • Providing well qualified, inspirational, and dedicated staff, committed to continual professional development, who have high expectations of all pupils, who enjoy teaching and learning, and who enable pupils to fulfill their academic potential within an intellectually vibrant community.
    • Providing outstanding pastoral care and ensuring that relationships within the school are based on mutual respect within a highly supportive environment.
    • Encouraging the development in each pupil of self-discipline, responsibility, physical and emotional well-being, moral and spiritual values, and consequently the highest possible standards of behavior, confidence in themselves, and consideration for others.
    • Offering excellent facilities and a wide range of high-quality extracurricular activities through which pupils develop a healthy sense of co-operation and competition as well as enjoying their social, sporting and cultural interests for their sakes.
    • Preparing pupils for life beyond school through an understanding of higher education and career possibilities, a development of entrepreneurial and leadership skills, an informed appreciation of the diversity of the world, and a sense of service to the wider community.
    • Working in a close and effective partnership with parents and encouraging them to be actively involved in their child’s education.

We value each pupil as a unique individual and work to ensure that all relationships in the School are based on mutual respect. We expect high standards of behavior, founded on personal responsibility and self-discipline combined with genuine concern and compassion for others.

The outstanding pastoral care offered at Trinity means all students will receive carefully considered advice at every stage of their school career, tailored to their individual needs and circumstances. All students will have a Tutor, someone they will see at least twice a day, who will listen, advise and help them to make and understand their own choices.

We aim to give your child the confidence and skills needed to be happy and successful, both while they are with us and throughout their lives. To complement learning, the School aims to develop a sense of adventure, as well as cultural and social awareness. There are numerous clubs and societies, often run by the pupils themselves, to satisfy a wide range of interests such as sub-aqua, ecology, creative writing, chess, and Trinity Racing, where pupils design, build and race their cars.
