We pride ourselves on the broad, balanced and full curriculum we can provide from the early years upwards with each child achieving the standard that he/she is capable of. We are also proud of the atmosphere of friendliness and co-operation which is always evident in the school. We value all our pupils and we believe that their time in school should be rewarding and fulfilling. By carrying out the school motto, together we can do it. We expect every one of our pupils to work to his/her full potential and go on to lead a happy and successful life. The school inspection report of 2008 states, “Pupils are cared for, guided and supported well in a secure and happy environment. The school has a very positive ethos and every pupils is valued and included. Its provision contributes effectively to pupils well being.”

Aims:

Teach each child, regardless of age, sex or ability
- Ensure that pupils have a confident understanding of their importance and practical experience in the local and global communities. Develop an understanding of cultural heritage alongside that of people from other countries and faiths.
- Create a positive learning environment that is relaxed yet challenging, and facilitates this by forming the best possible pro-active relationships between teachers, children, parents and others involved. Develop and support everyone that works in the community of the school.
- Create pro-active incentives to increase the natural desire for knowledge and skills that are present throughout the learning community.
