From the beginning, when the Multinational School, Riyadh was established in 1998, the essence of our school has been to welcome all children to achieve their ambitions and reach their full potential. Working with parents and students, this aim inspires all those in our school community every day. This vision to nurture future leaders at MNS-R now inspires all Multinational Schools.

Working with parents to enable all of our children to achieve their ambitions and reach their full potential. A happy and successful school meeting every child's individual needs and nurturing "LEADERS". LEADERS' is our way of setting out the values that inspire our whole community.

The Multinational School Riyadh (MNS-R) is a K-12 private international school in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Founded in 1998, we have since become one of the top schools in Riyadh. Our internationally qualified teaching staff regularly leads students to achieve some of the best academic results in the world in AusVELS, IGCSE, and A-Levels examinations. We have one of the best co-curricular activity programs in Saudi Arabia building well-rounded students outside the classroom.

We are a vibrant and diverse community of over 1600 students and nearly 400 staff from over 80 different countries. The school is managed by a Board of Governors who maintain overall management and control of school affairs. The Board exercises the power and authority conferred upon it by the Saudi Ministry of Education to ensure the school achieves its high-level objectives.

We have adopted the Australian Curriculum and are accredited to AusVELS (Australian Victorian Essential Learning Standards), an accredited and internationally recognized curriculum. We have a partnership agreement with Education Victoria and participate in ongoing inspections by the Victorian Board of Studies. These include assessment of materials, facilities, teaching methods, and school management.

From Years 9 and 10 we offer the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) and A Levels for senior students as preparation for university education. These internationally recognized qualifications give our students the choice of studying anywhere in the world. Our School offers:

    • Academic excellence with strong pastoral care
    • The most comprehensive and sophisticated learning support programs in the Middle East
    • Excellent, internationally experienced, qualified teachers
    • Child-centered and play-based Early Childhood Programmes
    • Intelligent integration of information technology from day one
    • A wide range of specialist subjects with dedicated specialist teachers
    • A large and dedicated special needs department

The Kindergarten program is based on learning through play. It helps to create a positive attitude towards learning and develops the children's abilities and talents. In the early years, the children learn through exploration, with guided, hands-on experiences. Their progression through KG1 and KG2 gives them a good foundation for entry into the Foundation Class [Level One].

The focus in Kindergarten is on improving the children's social skills, listening skills, questioning skills, gross and fine motor skills, eye/hand coordination, learning to be part of a group, creativity, learning that print holds the message, and early numeric skills. All these enhance the quality and preparation of individual learning abilities through planned activities based on a thematic approach.

All the classrooms offer a bright learning environment, with a wide range of resources. The students also take part in Music, Art, Physical Education, and visits to the Junior Library and language activities in KG2.

Between the ages of 6 and 11 years, our primary children follow the Australian curriculum where they gain their understanding of literacy, numeracy, science, and other subjects they need to succeed in their future studies. Just as important, they are learning how to be confident, independent learners.

For ages 12 to 13 years, our high school students follow the Australian curriculum where they further develop their understanding of literacy, numeracy, science, and other subjects. Then, those aged 14 and 15 years study for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), followed by A Levels for ages 16 and 17 years.
