There is a moment in parenthood where one has to decide on a suitable and affordable international school for his/her beloved child. It is a very crucial and exciting moment and at the same time, you’ll realize that your child is growing up. Brighton International School (BIS) is committed to providing high-quality and affordable education for all of you. BIS offers Cambridge Curriculum for both primary and secondary as well as A-Levels.
We pride ourselves on being globally minded and internationally diverse. This is reflected by our students’ population who are from various nationalities and also the teachers and Management team who are inter-culturally sensitive.
BIS is strategically located in the heart of the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur and is only a 10-minute drive from the famous twin towers. The strategic location gives easy access to all the parents who wish to drive their children to the school before engaging in their daily business as well as for students who would like to reach the school with our dedicated transport system.
Our philosophy is to encourage our students to be intellectually inquisitive, receptive, dedicated, and able to express their ideas confidently. BIS aims to prepare its students to be articulated, courageous, and to develop a realization that the world is their classroom and that our lessons are for life-long learning.
At BIS, learning is dynamic, intensive, motivating, and fun. Learning is not restricted to the classroom alone but it is also open to outdoor learning. Thus, when the students arrive at BIS, they will be motivated and stimulated to push the limits of learning, to involve, to contribute, and to fit in the vibrant environment offered to them.
BIS aspires to be a state-of-the-art and advanced school in terms of encouraging its students to think critically. Most prominently, it also aims to promote a cheerful ambiance by embedding a sense of belief that anything and everything is possible.
Our website provides you with just a taste of the astonishing number of prospects here, both within our taught curriculum and beyond.
We believe that as a result of our caring attitude, attention, and time invested in every individual, we can surface the best traits in them and develop a lasting sense of belonging to something very extraordinary.
BIS Curriculum Model represents the School’s commitment to optimize teaching and learning that facilitate children’s holistic development and well-being. Through a curriculum that is stimulating and creative in an environment that is safe and child-centered. We enable the learners to explore multiple dimensions of excellence, encompassing intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development through our internationally recognized curriculum. There is an equal emphasis on academic rigor and engagements beyond the classroom through a wide spectrum of opportunities.
The School’s guiding statements underpin the fact that cherishing one’s own culture and respecting others, as well as values-based learning, are pivotal to holistic education. The educational programs at the school focus on encouraging the learner to develop five key attributes: creativity and innovation, collaboration, leadership, global citizenship, and life-long learning.
All the elements in our curriculum model converge to bring out the best in every child and enable him/her to be on the path of continuous development and progress.

The Key Stage 1 (Grade 1, 2, and 3) programs are based on the UK National Curriculum. Children are encouraged to become independent, capable learners. In Grade 2, the targets and expectations develop with the children to maintain high standards and previously accomplished achievements. Learning continues to be a balance of child-led learning and teacher-led learning. Children are encouraged to work in a variety of ways and fully understand and articulate their learning goals. Children are supported to achieve their potential by continuous assessment and we also target the areas of learning that require extra support.
