At St. Joseph’s, we believe that education is a partnership between educators, parents, and students. As partners in a collaborative process, we feel it is important that the parents and the school communicate frequently and effectively.

As we start a new school year, we always take a look at the feedback from all of our stakeholders (parents, the community, the student, the teachers, and the administration). We are encouraged by what we have achieved so far but can see that we can become even better. Our school’s vision and mission have shifted to reflect these goals. We invite you to continue your support and participation in your child’s academic experience at St Joseph’s Private Language School – American Section.

We are strong believers that we cannot work alone – a triangle of support is needed. This includes the school, the students, and you. We strive to teach our students life skills to help them when they reach the workforce. While not academic in nature, adhering to a company’s rules leads to promotions and advancement within a company. Therefore, our school also has policies about dress codes, timeliness, and homework assignments. With your understanding and support of the school’s rules and regulations, we will all work to ensure that each student receives his right to quality education.

"Education is not a filling of a pail, but it is the lighting of a candle". Education is a life-long journey. To keep this long road successful and enlightened, our Academic Program is designed to instill into our student's joy for learning by empowering them with the information, knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to achieve their aspirations and reach their highest potential as complex critical thinkers, quality producers, collaborative and independent workers, self-directed learners, and responsible contributors to their society.

All students can learn, but they learn at different rates and with different preferential styles and should be provided with a variety of instructional approaches to support their learning. The purpose of education is to challenge all students to develop to their fullest intellectual, social, emotional, and physical potentials.

We must prepare all students for a knowledge-based, technologically rich, and culturally diverse 21st century. Diversity should be promoted so that isolation of racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic groups is avoided. St Joseph Private Language School - American Section (SJAS) affirms the uniqueness and dignity of individuals, inspires the pursuit of excellence, instills cultural values, fosters a commitment to service, and strives to develop a connection with the world community. In addition, SJAS highly values what is termed as LIFE (Learning, Integrity, Fellowship, and Excellence) which is displayed in the balanced and caring education we offer to our students.

Our mission is to implement quality standards into our curriculums and teaching approaches to make our students stand out in society academically and professionally. Our vision of the school is to make it a place where children feel safe, learning is an exciting experience, and students are provided with the opportunities, which secure their successful future in their chosen careers. Our vision is to make the school a place where everybody feels respected and appreciated regardless of their nationality, religion, or culture. Our vision is to make sure the level of education is high, teachers are professional and the curriculums meet the standards of excellence

The philosophy of SJAS is to create an excellent learning environment for the overall development of our students, thus enabling them to contribute positively to the local community and society as a whole. We intend to assist our students in preparing them to face challenges imposed on them by the information, globalization, and modern technology era. In our pursuit of academic excellence, we aim to provide quality education to our students by hiring qualified teaching staff with professional knowledge and experience.

    • We aim to create an atmosphere of happiness, security, and constructive encouragement to promote students’ positive attitudes towards learning.
    • We aim to propagate ideas of tolerance and understanding towards different nationalities, cultures, and religions.
    • We aim to encourage our students to exercise the value of cooperation, responsibility, and self-discipline.
    • We aim to foster the habits of care for the environment on a local as well as global scale.
    • We aim to educate, encourage and challenge all students to fulfill their emotional, social and physical potential.
    • We aim to make our students aware of the benefits of the opportunity of studying and living alongside people from various parts of the world, thereby facilitating the total development of each child within an ever-changing global society.
