The school infirmary works every day from 8.00 am to 3.00 pm. The school doctor, assisted by a nurse, makes sure that all is well in the infirmary. Any pupil suffering from a medical condition can go to the infirmary with the permission of his teacher or the students’ counselor. The school doctor gives first aid to the sick or injured, sends a note to the parents and, if necessary, calls them for further instructions regarding their child’s case or to ask them to pick up their child. In case of severe accidents, the child is taken to the hospital.
Life at school is based upon codes that have their foundation in the essential values of the school: self-respect and respect of others, academic commitment, solidarity and community life, classical rules of politeness, and active participation in the life of the establishment. The punitive measures imposed in case of transgressions are clearly explained. The different sections of the school have each their regulations adapted to the age of the pupils. The school uniform dictates the dress code during activities and sports competitions, pupils wear the assigned uniform. The security of the pupils especially requires controls which everybody must submit to.
