Parkview Adventist Academy Panthers Athletic Program Mission Statement. The mission of the Parkview Adventist Academy Panthers Athletic Program is to provide a setting in which students can experience the joy of movement through the medium of sport in a Seventh-day Adventist, Christ-centered environment as they engage in activities that promote the development of the whole person physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and socially.
Throughout your tenure at PAA, you will have the opportunity to lead out in our school life programs. From our Student Association to Class Executives to Campus Ministries, find your niche and join in the decision-making process. Our Campus is devoted to helping students develop a relationship with Jesus to last through both the good and challenging times. Understanding our role in that relationship helps create a positive, accepting, and loving environment at PAA, giving us a 97% student satisfaction rating. We love our students, our God, and our school.
As Jesus' life on earth shows us, there is value in a job well done! Students have the opportunity to work here on Campus as bakers, teachers' assistants, and janitors. There is also a work/learn co-op with Spyder Controls in which students can participate.
As one of Canada's two Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) boarding academies, we are proud of our long heritage as such. Providing students with a home away from home enables us to reach more students and offer SDA education to those who would not otherwise attend. We have lots to tell you about Maple Hall, so click the link to the right to read all about it.
PAA students have the opportunity to participate in the Burman University Choral Union. The choir meets daily during lunch hour. The Choral Union tours once or twice per year and put on both a Christmas and a spring concert. Burman University Music Department has many other opportunities available.
