    Our story begins in 2001, the year Hanson International Academy was founded. With the focus on preparing international students for undergraduate studies in a Canadian university, we pride ourselves on being one of Toronto's best private schools. With an average class size of six students, an individualized approach, and top-notch facilities, Hanson offers an excellent learning environment. 100% of HIA graduates attend universities or colleges of their dream. Each year, our students receive acceptance offers from top universities, including the University of Toronto, McMaster University, the University of Ottawa, Queen's University, Western University.
    For over 17 years, HIA has provided a wide range of learning opportunities for international students from all over the world. I firmly believe that through professionally developed programs and ongoing guidance, support with skills development, and outside the classroom experiences, our students achieve success and reach new heights.
    Hanson International Academy encourages students to set high goals, providing them with the necessary tools and training. Aiming to ensure our students go on to universities or other post-secondary institutions, advance in their chosen professional field, and live a beautiful life, we promote the importance of understanding and mastering life skills such as time and project management, problem-solving, interpersonal and leadership skills. When combined and reinforced with learning skills that include study and exam skills, presentation, oral test, and essay writing skills, create a rich educational and cultural foundation for every Hanson high school student to succeed and achieve their full potential.

    At Hanson, we provide one-on-one counseling for each student to better plan their high school education. We assess students' strengths and weaknesses, coach them on developing their interests, identify their goals, select the right courses, and make their personalized study plans. Our staff and faculty are also dedicated to supporting every student's smooth adjustment to the Canadian culture and the Canadian learning environment.
    Hanson effectively tracks students' academic performance to make sure of their learning progress. We communicate with the faculty and the students every day and timely identify students' learning issues, difficulties, and struggles to resolve the problems at the earliest stage. Meanwhile, we coach students to develop good learning habits and acquire useful skills to maximize their success.
    Hanson provides customized extra tutoring services for students who need additional assistance in studying certain subjects and may miss class time and evaluation opportunities due to other commitments or specific circumstances. Our caring and patient teachers will help students improve their learning and academic performance by offering one-on-one tutoring.
    Hanson establishes and maintains good relationships with parents. We routinely update parents on student attendance and academic performance by providing detailed monthly reports and semester-based midterm and final report cards. Our dedicated staff timely communicate with parents regarding students' education plans and their well-being, answer parents' inquiries, and address their concerns. We work with parents to better understand and support students to reach their goals in Canada.
    We help students with their full university application cycle and make sure they are on the right track every step of the way, including choosing programs and universities, applying on OUAC, meeting IELTS requirements, writing personal statements, and following up with University Admission officers. During university application season, Hanson arranges students to attend Ontario Universities' Fair and invites designated university representatives from prestigious Canadian universities to give application information sessions and answer student inquiries on campus.
